If your in Buxton NC you must stop at Orange Blossom! They have apple uglies as big as a loaf of bread. They are only open first half of the day so get there before 11am. They also have donuts and biscuits all homemade. We usually stop in on the way home and take a half dozen apple uglies back for friends an relatives.

It’s not quite the season for the Outer Banks as it’s the week before Easter. We needed a quick lunch before the kids went riding with Equine Adventures just down the road.
Wow! The food, the service, the prices were simply amazing! From the Crabby Pattie, the shrimp Po’boy or the chicken fajita platter, the quality and quantity of food served was fantastic.
This is a “must visit” location. You will not be disappointed!

Read the reviews on Yelp and TripAdvisor before going and thought it can't be that bad. There were reviews of not smiling, grouchy, mean staff, Soup Nazi for ice cream and custard, etc. All confirmed. Older blonde woman waited on us without a smile or even a glimmer of being hospitable. Ordered three ice cream cones, and all three are delivered by a girl who looks to be about 15 to 18 years old with very deliberate and no smile action. Thought this could be older woman's daughter or maybe she got "trained" that way. Be mean and direct with customers that will make them want to come back for more. Ha! Didn't play mini golf but reviews for it were terrible. We were in Buxton September 2016 and back again July 2017 and I think they may have upgraded the mini golf carpet and cleaned up the course a bit? As I said we didn't play it so not positive on that, but that is my recollection. Looked better than it did last fall. The decor inside the shop is crazy bad. The sofa and loveseat are as dirty as could be, all kinds of jewelry, earrings, and other gifts for sale. There is a big picture of Shaquille O'Neal and signs everywhere saying don't take pictures with your cell phones or cameras. Not sure what they are afraid or paranoid of but don't touch anything or sit down. Go outside and have your ice cream or custard. Prices were reasonable and the ice cream is good.

Cafe Pamlico provides a world class casual fine dining experience through exceptional food, outstanding detail oriented service, an inspired wine and cocktail program, and gracious attentive Southern hospitality. Our contemporary coastal cuisine is driven by locally sourced seafood, meats, and produce. Our menu changes frequently in accordance with the fresh ingredients our chefs discover on the island, most notably the fresh local seafood we feature. We are committed to supporting local farmers and artisan food producers first, sustainable resources second, and organic third. Reservations are highly recommended.
We were so lucky. My brother in law and my wife and her sister needed to celebrate complete of a series of repairs on our beach house in Salvo, NC on the beautiful Outer Banks. Fortunately we chose The Inn at Pamlico Sound. While somewhat expensive, it was wonderful. We sat at a window booth, facing the Albemarle Sound, and enjoyed two bottles of wine and four different delicious entrees which we shared. The variety was such that we all felt we had to try everything. The food and atmosphere were ideal and all of us were filled to the gills. We shall return to this hidden treasure in Buxton on the Outer Banks of North Carolina, our home away from home.

But worth seeking out! Fabulous ice cream in LARGE portions served up by the most pleasant young ladies. And, the price will leave you thinking if they have made a mistake in their addition. Wonderful , relaxed atmosphere.

Fatty's is a fun beachy shop that has Ice Cream, Hotdogs, and Kayak Tours; yep, Ice cream and Kayaks. We know its a crazy combo but being that we are located where we are, we couldn't not give Kayak Tours! The Hotdogs are crazy on purpose. We do all beef dogs with Martins Potato bread buns and load everything from hot Cheetos and Sriracha sauce, to hash browns and fried eggs on them for maximum delicious madness. We are locally owned and operated and we appreciate everyone for supporting locals! A big thank you to everyone who comes out!
My brother and I stopped here for lunch after visiting the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse.
It's a quaint ramshackle kind of place - and not your normal fast food joint.
Burgers are about $7 each and include a pile of fries. (They have hot dogs and chicken, too.)
The burgers are unusual - I suppose they have a plain burger, but if that's all you want you'd be missing out on an opportunity to experience something really tasty!
I had a bacon-cheeseburger, my brother had a spaghetti burger.
By the way, they also have hand-scooped Hershey ice cream - also very tasty.
We'll go back when we're in the area again!

Had dinner here as had been impressed by the place when we stopped earlier for a couple of beers. Good seafood and acceptable service though staff seemed a little rushed at times.Andrew, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with our restaurant. We appreciate all feedback as it helps us make improvements. We are glad you stopped by and that enjoyed our seafood. We hope to see you again soon!

After a cold wet morning of fishing, we stopped into Angelo’s and ordered two large pizzas along with a large order of chicken wings and fries.
The pizzas hit the spot and were served quickly. The wings were spicy but thin on meat. The fries were piping hot and well proportioned for a single serving. They offer both Coke and Pepsi products along with sweet and regular tea.

We ate at this establishment many times in the course of a few days!!! All meals were great and this is now a new favorite stop on our journeys to Ocracoke. They have pick up orders for breakfast sandwiches, an awesome stop on the way...MoreIt was a pleasure each and every time, Donna! From our sandwiches to our sushi, you can count on everything being amazing when you stop by, so I look forward to welcoming you back in the spring! Best wishes, Keith Gray, Owner
