We had been riding motorcycles all day and as we approached our hotel a stop for ice cream seemed in order. We passed by other ice cream stops for this, I'm not sure why, but when we saw the crowd we figured we made a good choice.
Inside they have soft serve and hand dipped ice cream as well as a variety of ice cream drinks. I got a child size root beer float and it was the perfect size to give me that satisfaction of a root beer float without spiking my calorie count.
They also have a drive through, but for the life of me I don't know why people choose it. We were in and out before many cars had moved and the line of cars wound out into the breakdown lane of the road out front. It seems like a dangerous situation. I suggest you get out of your car, go inside and meet the nice workers, see the operation, get something to eat and sit outside to enjoy the sunset.

Visiting to taste the doughnuts we see on "farm kings" when watching Lisa King and her family on the television when back in England, we were not disappointed. We saw Joe King and he kindly stopped to speak to us as we were leaving the shop to demolish our doughnuts. Two cream doughnuts with chocolate tops and a creme patisserie type cream were delicious. Soft but with that naughty bite. Washed down with two coffees. The doughnuts were the best doughnuts we had eaten in the three weeks we were in America, and beat Dunkin Donuts which is close by hands down. I just wish I had bought more.

They offer an extensive menu with deliciously interesting, but not WEIRD items. The specials are always tempting. My all time fave is "The Doc," which I recommend to all pulled pork lovers. The only negative is no bar. If they had beer, they'd never get me out of there!!

In town for business and stopped here for lunch. Small dining area but the wait staff was quick and ready to meet our needs. We ordered and received our food quickly. Everything was fresh and tasty. Definitely worth a stop if you are in the area and want Mexican.

W. Rick's is a family owned, family operated business. We try to accommodate patrons in any and every possible way. We specialize in Prime Rib and Crab Cakes, but we have a vast selection of different dishes that range from Pizza to Lamb Chops. The bar and dining room are separate....so there are two unique atmospheres to enjoy. Any questions that you may ever have, feel free to call us and ask for Talbot.
Was in the area on business and decided to try a local restaurant instead of a chain and was very pleased with the selection! I had the lobster pot and the others had steaks and we were all happy with our meals. Appetizers were great too. If I get in the area again I'll be back!

The bakery isn't open when I'm on my way to work, and closed when I get off work. My lunch break is short. Very strange hours. I thought their baked goods were a tad sweet for my liking. The staff was pleasant enough, but parking is difficult.

The food here is good, as is all of the Springfield restaurants, but it's the service that makes it outstanding. My son ordered spaghetti from the kids menu. It was too spicy for him. The server noticed and offered to get him something else. He got the mini corn dogs and was very happy. They replaced the meal at no cost to us. They did not need to do that and I tell everyone I can about it.

We are a family owned and operated ice cream and coffee shop. Our business is seasonal. We open April Fools Day each year and close in October. We make most of our 31 hand scooped flavors right here in our shop. Our soft serve is real ice cream. Our coffee is bold, never bitter.
We only get to western Pennsylvania about once every two years, and visits to Mazzanti's are at the top of our to-do list when we get there. Their ice cream is so creamy and smooth, never icy and "thin" like it can be at other places. They have lots of delicious flavors, too - even if this summer they didn't have my all-time favorite, Cannoli (it may look like plain vanilla with chocolate chips and cookie pieces, but it is a rich, luscious ricotta ice cream - with chocolate chips and cannoli cookie pieces) - I sure hope they will have it the next time I am in the area! However, their new coffee chip ice cream was really good too. Serving sizes are very generous, and in fact, even a small is quite large, so exercise caution when ordering :-) This place may not look like much from the outside, but any ice cream lover would really miss out if they just drove past. Mazzanti's is one of my two favorite ice cream places in the world - the other is Come il Latte in Rome, Italy!

Villa Grande has consistently provided Superior Italian food to the Butler Pennsylvania area. We consistently order the carbonara as it is the best in the area and the serving size is enough to have it again for lunch the next day. Service is good and friendly.

The Hungry Detective and family enjoyed wonderful food and great service from Liz our server!!! Liz went above and beyond the call of duty and was absolutely fabulous!!! I had the Parmesan Chicken with house salad...cooked to perfection and tasted like veal!!! The family had sandwiches and pasta and everyone was happy!!!
VERDICT: Tommy Reese and family has been doing it right for 40 plus years and are still getting it done. The Monroe Hotel is a true Butler landmark and will never disappoint!!!
