Creative, delicious and affordable cuisine served in a welcoming, comfortable atmosphere by friendly, attentive servers. What dining out should be! You"ll find it at The Emerald Rose. Choose from our white tablecloth dining room, a seat by the fireplace in the more casual Irish Pub or one of our two outdoor patios. Executive Chef Mark Filteau has created a menu with a great balance of traditional Irish favorites like Bangers and Mashed, exciting new dishes like Blue Cheese Crusted Filet Mignon with Bass Ale Demi-Glaze and creative comfort food like Baked Macaroni and Cheese with Lobster. Great Food, Great Value, Friendly Service and an extensive menu with something for everyone! Come relax and enjoy!
I booked Emerald Rose for a celebration for my aunt's 90th birthday. The management was extremely helpful and responsive. We had the choice of 3-4 items from the menu, plus appetizers and dessert. We chose steak tips, haddock and Turkey dinner. The food was great -- I couldn't even finish my huge portion. Cocktail was delicious (I highly recommend the cougar-tini). Waitstaff was helpful -- a wonderful experience. This is going to be my go-to place for family events.

We had not been here recently after being underwhelmed a few years ago. Very different experience this time. Service was excellent all around including a very knowledgeable and attentive waiter. While the menu is tilted towards meat, the four of us had seafood main courses which were uniformly in the excellent/wonderful range. All the food was excellent from apps to dessert. The selection of wines by the glass was very good.
Our table was in a corner out of the main area which allowed for easy conversation. I do think sitting in the midst of the main room would be too loud.
L'Andana is very expensive but you do "get what you pay for" there.

Flatbread Company is a mostly organic, wood fired, full service pizza restaurant. We have a commitment to source local and organic foods whenever possible, while giving back to the community through benefits and sponsorship.
Our daughter and son-in-law were able to escape for an adult overnight. We were put in charge of our three teenage grandchildren.
Dinner was no problem. When I suggested "Flatbread", there was a unanimous "Yes". We've not been there in a while but it was as good as we remembered. It was a Friday night but we only waited a short time. The open pizza fire was going full blast. We ordered one small with sausage and two large pies. The kids had soda and a Shirley Temple while the adults had two glasses of Chianti which was quite good. Service was very efficient. The kids finished off dinner with various ice creams.
The food was very tasty and the conversations flowed back and forth. It was a delightful evening.

Got a 5 order take out of omelette sand toast. 3 were the same and the other 2 were the same. All orders came out wrong. To boot we got the worst service from the take out person. The order was $50+ for eggs! Not worth it and won't do take out again. Been for sit down as well and it was very good!

Every aspect of this meal was delicious! Perfect samosas stuffed with decadent vegetables paired with generously portioned dipping sauces. Naan breads pillowy and comforting. Oh...the Butter chicken is perfection on a plate! Some of the BEST Indian food I’ve ever had!

Visited on a busy Saturday night with a reservation. The menu has an excellent variety of options; ample options when it comes to beer and wine, although be honest, we came for the delicious homemade sangria. Our favorite tapas: Croquetas de Chorizo, meatballs, Gambas (shrimp) ajillo, even the Kobe empanadas were out this world. The flan made for a perfect ending. Ample public parking behind the building; worth the drive from anywhere.

Nick Varano, owner of Strega, Strega Waterfront, and Nico Ristorante in the Boston area is opening a new high-end Italian steakhouse in Woburn where he wants "everyone to feel like a celebrity." The expansive 352-seat space (312-seats indoors/ 40-seats outdoors) features Strega’s signature sleek design and décor with brilliant light fixtures and deep woods throughout the interior.
Strega Prim is an upscale restaurant with excellent service and food.
Instead of bread, we got a popover - very nicely done.
the drinks we ordered were super.
Our table had halibut, sirloin, pasta bolonese, and pasta with lobster. All were outstanding. Oysters were good, too.
Not cheap, but you do get what you pay for here.
Large dining area, but not noisy.

The Bancroft is a new chef-driven steakhouse and craft cocktail lounge from the Webber Restaurant Group, the family behind the Gibbet Hill Grill and Farm and the Burlington-based Fireside Catering. This restaurant is edgy and urban, an exciting spot to socialize after work and a striking setting for a special night out. The service style is warm and attentive. The environment is dramatic and sexy. We want our guests to have a dining out experience, not just dine out. The Bancroft strives to entertain, to impress, and to be memorable. As a locally owned restaurant group, the Webber family seeks to provide gathering places that are a source of pride for the community, and is invested in making The Bancroft a neighborhood institution in Burlington.
Treated ourselves to a dinner date at The Bancroft in Burlington, MA. We don't typically dine at a high end restaurant like this, but every once in a while we splurge.
Firstly, you'll need a reservation. By 6 PM, the place was packed...crazy busy. We started with bourbon based cocktails at $12 a piece. Delicious, but a bit pricey. Followed that up with a crabcake appetizer, which was amazing. For dinner, we had a basic salad, mushrooms, fingerling potatoes, and steaks. My wife had a 12 oz. filet & I had a 16 oz, 28 day aged ribeye...both were excellent. For desert we split chocolate cake and ice cream, also delicious. We washed all that down with some Merlot.
Overall, the Bancroft was quite good, but for $250 (including tip) it wasn't great. The three sides were just underwhelming, which keeps it from being great.

Something quite uncommon has occurred. The Capital Grille has arrived in Wayside Commons. A clear indication that the winds of distinctive dining have changed. Now, you can have your Stoli Doli well in hand within minutes of leaving your office. You can enjoy our legendary dry aged Porterhouse without double-parking. And relish your crème brulée knowing you're moments from home. Now, who was it again that said you couldn't have it all?
Visited them on Valentine's Day and had great expectations and received them ten fold. From arrival to being brought to our table to the service and entrees we received nothing can compare. A true downtown experience outside in the burbs.

Stopped in for lunch one day, got the buffet which was very good. everything was full and fresh with a good variety of choices from standard appetizers to main entrees even sushi. the only part of it i found to be lacking was the dessert choices. a pretty decent choice if you're in the mood for a chinese buffet
