Voted best lobster roll in the Midcoast! We have great slab pizza, sandwiches, beer & wine selection with friendly service. Everyone is welcome at Libby's!
Not much ambience but the lobster rolls more than make up for the lack of water nearby. Huge chunks of absolutely fresh lobster on a toasted buttered bun. The price is high but even the small roll contains a large amount of meat. Other grilled sandwiches available but we always get the lobster roll.

A bright, friendly, breakfast/lunch restaurant featuring American cuisine and authentic burritos. We also offer homemade baked goods featuring our fantastic whoopie pies, magnificent muffin munch, carrot cakes and other super treats. We serve organic locally roasted coffee by Brunswick's Wicked Joe and offer several Gluten-free options and serve Gluten-free baked goods by Bam-Bam Bakery of Portland.
Our son (local) said this is his favorite spot for breakfast so we had to give it a try
It's a small place, just across the river from downtown Brunswick and is a cute spot
Obviously, I had to give their blueberry pancakes a try (interestingly, maple syrup is an "upcharge") and my wife had the egg-tastic.
Also had the hot chocolate which was pretty good....the service was prompt in spite of it being nearly full (again, small place so that doesn't take too much) and it didn't take long to get our order
Here was the downside The upcharged syrup came in a TINY receptacle and was $1.49 That's CRAZY. The pancakes were very good but my wife's sandwich had a tiny piece of toothpick inside it ...not a pleasant "surprise"

Tao Yuan serves excellently prepared food; the problem is, how can you enjoy any food that is thrown on the table so quickly that you can’t enjoy one dish before the next is dumped on top of it?
We usually have the tasting menu at Tao, and have learned to request Slow Serve, so that each dish can be enjoyed in its time. This evening, we brought friends for their first visit, decided on a la carte rather than the tasting menu. As a precaution, I specified to the waiter that we didn’t want the courses delivered in a rush. Despite a repeated request to the waiter, it just got worse and worse, so that the entire evening was ruined for me.
They ended up comping us dessert, but I was past even wanting dessert by that time. If I’d wanted everything tossed on the table at once, I would have gone to a dim sum place.
Perhaps it would be better for Cara Stadler to improve and maintain quality at her existing two restaurants rather than opening two additional ones.
From a disappointed friend of Tao Yuan.

Stopped in for lunch today. Love the atmosphere. Great beer selection. We waited wayyyy too long for our lunch. Our waitress was nice, but a social butterfly. Often distracted. The food was pretty good as far as taste but 3 of the 5 meals we ordered came out wrong. I get it places get busy but how about a little quality control? I really wanted to love this place. We will try it again...hopefully a better outcome.

A cafe, deli and bakery that serves all-natural, from-scratch food, including homemade soups, deli salads, made-to-order sandwiches, hand-formed loaf breads, muffins and scones, cookies and cupcakes, cakes and pies and more!
Wild Oats is a required stop whenever we visit family in nearby Bath, ME. The bakery items are always fresh and, based on taste, I assume made from scratch with high-quality ingredients. Think grandmother’s kitchen where butter is fully appreciated. On this most recent trip we shared a goldmine cookie, espresso brownie, peanut butter Rice Krispie treat, and a s’mores bar and all were fantastic! We also had quiche, a hand pie, a deli sandwich and an array of soups and chilis. My cheeseburger soup was so yummy I’m writing this review in hope Wild Oats will reply back to this post with the recipe. <3

Our party of six ranged in age from 7 to 81. The food was fresh and very good, but the seating was very hard and service was variable, so we didn't linger. We heard that the place becomes hopping later in the evening, and reservations are a good idea.

Stopped for the blueberry pie, then added lobster stew, and fried clams. Everything tasted great. They have nice outdoor seating.

New restaurant in Brunswick
We stopped for lunch on a Friday. Hubby ordered off the lunch special menu and chose Drunken Noodles. I selected chicken pineapple fried rice from their regular menu. We split an appetizer of fried egg rolls.
Egg roll 4 small ones for $5. Very light, crispy wrappers, tasty filling, great dipping sauce. Definitely liked them.
Pineapple fried rice was very good. Large portion, lots of chicken breast meat, cashews and pineapple.
Undisputed favorite was the drunken noodles. Never had it before, didn't really know what it would be like, can't describe it except to say it was amazing. The mushrooms were worth fighting over, tons of flavor in the chicken and vegetables. Excellent noodles.
Highly recommend. We're probably stopping by again on our way to Portland airport before we fly home.

You will sit down to our famous pretzels and rolls aside Richard's Own secret recipe mustard. We ordered weinerschnitzel and kasseler ripchen, our Richard's favorites, with sides of hot potato salad, red cabbage, and sauerkraut, all delicious. We have the smaller portions, which are plenty for us. Rounded off with Munich Spaten lager, a perfect fall supper. Service is always prompt...MoreThank you for your review! We are so happy to hear that you’ve found a couple of favorite items on our menu. We sincerely appreciate your business and we look forward to serving you again soon!

My family and I had an excellent meal - delicious, fresh naan bread, flavorful vegetarian and chicken dishes and reasonable prices. We will definitely be returning. Better than any Indian restaurant options in Portland. Highly recommend and well worth the trip to Brunswick.
