We have a great breakfast, lunch & dinner menu. We offer a wide range of different foods not found in Brookville. Stop in and check us out
After our venture to White's flea market we used to go to the Gold Finch which is no more so we thought we'd give this place a try. Good choice! We had the typical breakfast of sausage and eggs and everything was cooked perfect plus the service was good, Will be back for sure!

We stopped here during our visit to the Christmas walk. Smelly was generous in handing out samples of his potato soup, chili and chicken salad. The food was delicious. Our group also had a latte, cappuccino and hot chocolate. All our drinks were excellent. I would definitely come back here if I am ever in Metamora again. We also really enjoyed the quaint atmosphere and friendly down home service. Excellent find!

We stayed in a condo next door and visited Ainsley's Café several times during our vacation. The two tiered outdoor patio over looking the lake is the highlight of this restaurant. The restaurants has both inside and outdoor seating. We found the food good but nothing special. The prices were reasonable considering it is the only restaurant on Brookville Lake. Our service was excellent each time we have visited.
On our next visit to Brookville lake I am sure we will visit Ainsley's Café again. I do recommend this restaurant.

Grannie's ice-cream is a must visit place! They make their own waffle cones every single day and are AMAZING! They are the friendliest people and have wonderful ice-cream! I eat more ice-cream when I go to Grannies then I eat all year long!

I have been going to this place for almost 40 years. Stopped in recently while on a motorcycle ride. I ordered a cheeseburger and it was fantastic! Will be stopping in whenever I am in the neighborhood...

This is a great little Mexican restaurant in our small town of Brookville. The food is wonderful. The people are extremely nice. And if you don't get there early, you have to wait. Thanks!
Extensive menu sure to please everyone in your party (even American selections). Also had offerings just for kids AND Seniors, so if you have a small appetite you won't be wasting food. Not that our group wasted even one bite of this great food.

Stopped in here by chance during a visit to Metamora to try out the dessert. It was SO GOOD!!! We will definitely be eating here the next time we are in town!!! We ordered the deep fried pumpkin bread, banana bread, and the pumpkin pie. Everything was delicious. Service was very friendly. Restaurant is very cute...front porch was adorable. They even had viewmasters on the tables...hankies for the silverware...I loved EVERYTHING about this place. Unfortunately, while visiting the ceiling had a major leak, but other than that everything was great!!!

I had read so many reviews about people driving from long distances to get chicken at the Dairy Cottage that I insisted my husband and I eat there the last night of our camping trip. I knew it wasn't a fancy, sit-down restaurant, but I didn't expect dirty tables, dirty restrooms, and a rowdy crowd of people standing in the aisles so we couldn't get thru. The room was so loud we could hardly hear each other talk. The chicken was VERY dry and dark, especially my husband's thigh. The little serving of Cole slaw was good. My chicken wings were ok, but certainly not better than at a dozen other restaurants I've been to. We saw they had lots of ice cream choices, but were so disgusted we left and went to the grocery store for ice cream.

Gold Digger's Family Diner offers great food at reasonable prices with fast service. In addition to a walk-up window on Main Street, where people can buy grab and go food items and drinks, indoor and outdoor seating is available. Gold Digger's is also an event center where we will have Live Music, a dance floor, catering and other events. Our events will be published on Facebok.
The food was good and the live music was an unexpected treat. We knew if the train crew was eating there we would have plenty of time for our lunch. The chef salad was amazing and the ham and bean soup was very filling. Prices were good and the service was prompt.

Even though Rileybrook Hall is now closed, I still want to express to Rob and Tom my sincere appreciation for a number of memorable dining experiences over years of visits to this obscure but charming venue. This country manor, home of the proprietors as well as the dining room, is like a museum inside and out. My first visit, more than a decade ago, I could hardly find time to eat from gawking at the eclectic treasures they have assembled. Since that time, my lady and I visited Rileybrook a number of times, for both lunch and dinner, and have taken a number of friends as guests, all of whom have been wowed by the facility, the graciousness of Tom and Rob, and the delectable victuals they have served to us. Thank you, guys, for many great times, great meals, and great conversations! We will miss your hospitality, and the wonderful drive through the country on Duck Creek Road! Enjoy your retirement!
