My wife and I had lunch here before a wedding. We were very favorably impressed.
We shared a delicate, homemade tomato soup to start with. Then I had a beautiful, multicolored curry chicken salad replete with tomatoes, jicama, beets, avocado, carrots, cucumbers, orange peppers, pickled red onions and assorted greens. It tasted as good as it looked. My wife had a very nice egg salad sandwich, served pipes-faced as in Scandinavia. We really enjoyed our meal.

Beautiful barista but weak espresso drink. I hesitate to knock a place that has really friendly service. But the coffee missed the mark. I had high expectations as she ground the beans but our coffee went in the trash after we left. I didn't want to hurt her feelings because she was so nice to us.

Daily farm-fresh specialties such as soups, salads, snacks & desserts to accompany our Neapolitan-inspired pizzas fired in our wood oven.
We visited this restaurant on a Monday night, which happened to be Ramen night. I chose a wood-fired pizza and my partner chose the Ramen. Both of our meals were excellent! The restaurant is small and does not take reservations. We went when the doors opened and were seated at with only a few available seats left. But, you can always enjoy a glass of wine and wait for a table if it is full. Highly recommend.

Come see why we are the most loved restaurant in Boonville! We serve BBQ+TAQOS and MORE. We offer a fine selection of Local Craft Beers and Local Wine. Great for families and groups. Out door patio+ dog friendly. We offer take-away and catering.
We had a great meeting here and the food and wine were wonderful. But the best part was the owners who served us and chatted about the day.
The seafood is great and the pricing very reasonable. But you should definitely start with the truffle fries. Wow!
Would be a romantic evening for a couple and right across the street from the local hotel.

It's not so easy finding good eats in Boonville in January. Go here. We stopped going up to Mendocino and on the way home. Excellent cappuccino (not bitter!) and great egg, cheese, bacon sandwiches. Very pleasant ladies running the restaurant and a great clean bathroom. Free wifi.

Located in the Boonville Hotel in Anderson Valley.
This prix-fixe dinner restaurant wowed us last night, with a delicious smoked trout pate, a crisp little gem salad, a decadent roast pork with polenta and horseradish cream, and a wonderful chocolate walnut tart. All with knowledgeable and attentive service. A perfect meal after spending the afternoon touring the majestic redwoods at Montgomery Woods State Reserve, which is a lot like Muir Woods without the hordes.
This restaurant is always good -- worth a day trip to see the redwoods and eat here.

We were staying across the street at the Boonville Hotel and this restaurant was across the street and easy to walk to. We had a burger and enchiladas both were average and what one would expect at this type of restaurant. Server was pleasant and efficient.

This establishment has been a trend setter for 20 years in this little Valley. The ambiance is romantic and welcoming. The staff professional and the food to die for. The young chefs have taken off from the orignal maestro and enhanced the flavors and presentations beyond their teacher. Considering the quality and atmosphere the prix fix menu is fairly priced. It is San Francisco quality in a country setting so enjoy it for its unique qualities and the outdoor gardens. Spend the night if they have rooms avaialble!

The last time I wrote a review of Mosswood it had different owners. I have eaten here since the new owners and have reserved judgement. Now I'm convinced it's still a comfortable place to drink good coffee, have a sandwich and salad, and use the wifi. The staff is very friendly. They brought a water bowl for Roxie-the-Golden. Outside seating is very comfortable. They have the best sticky buns, if you get there early enough. Nice place to people watch.

In the little town of Boonville California over a 100 miles north of San Francisco is a place called Boont Berry Farm, founded in 1982 on highway 128. A small rustic building that produces the best fresh organic food one can eat. Vegetables, kale, broccoli, rice, chicken, beef, chocolate, coffee, drinks everyday and organic produce that one can buy. I call it real food and real truth. Sit outside on a February afternoon and take in the ambience of this friendly town called Boonville. The sky is a clear blue as the sun shines down while you eat al fresco style on the rustic table . Parking, no problem, just drive up and park. Service is first class, you pick what you want. I had baby kale for the first time in my life, fresh coated in their special dressing. I always hated kale but this kale was different. That is what Boont Berry Farm is, it is different. It has traditional food with a smile... They also have a large picnic area at the back. So what are you waiting for, get to Boonville and stop off at Boont Berry Farm to refuel true organic food that tastes good. I finished my meal , and make for a chocolate brownie that is made on the premises.... Well I deserved it, it is hard work soaking up the sun 75degrees here at Boont Berry Farm writing this review using their Wi FI bon appetit
