This place is so popular, especially for breakfast on the weekend, the line is out the back door. All the locals know! You can order just about any kind of taco, any way you want it. I am full after just one! They close early so be sure to check hours.

This place is a diamond! Owner Paula is truly a chef! She knows about wines and pairings and makes everything by scratch and gourmet! Don’t get fooled by the takeout atmosphere ! This place has high end food. Turkey wrap had some amazing dressing on it and mortadella bllt was so delicious . Had Brie on it too!
Let our dog on patio.

Donuts, kolaches, whatever you try, it will be good. Ask for a hot donut and if they have them, they'll bring it from the back. The breakfast sandwiches are huge and very filling. Also, the people are very friendly and the service is great. This goes for both locations.

We chose The Creek Restaurant because of the glowing reviews. We left wondering what we missed.
The location is fabulous, as the restaurant is situated near Cibolo Creek. It was a beautiful evening which added to the setting. We were welcomed, our table was ready and we were seated. Our server was interesting. She gave us time to choose wine and an appetizer and we soon ordered. The wine was decent and the appetizer was tasty.
Our server returned and described the specials. We chose entrees from the menu much to the visible disappointment of our server. We enjoyed the ambiance of the old home that was converted to the restaurant as we waited for our meals. Once we were served, we sampled the dishes which were both seafood. The dishes were presented well; however, they were not the quality I expected from the reviews. I wouldn't say they were boring, but there was nothing special about the meal. I lost interest pretty quickly.
We declined dessert and the wait was on. Our server simply disappeared for about 30 minutes. The wait was uncomfortable and frustrating. I felt I was in time out for not having dessert.
After paying the check, a manager stopped us on the way out and began discussing the server and her style of taking care of patrons. He was oddly apologetic.
Given the iffy service and the less than creative cuisine, I'm afraid we won't be back soon, if at all.

Dropped by for lunch after walking the shops of Boerne. Great, friendly service and attentive waiter. Fresh hot herb bread with butter and seasoned olive oil were served as we read the menu. We ordered a variety from the lunch menu; buffalo burger, portobello pasta, pulled pork sandwich and the lunch special, a twice baked potato with pulled pork. Good reliable food at moderate prices.

The Dodging Duck Brewhaus is located in Boerne, Texas, in the Texas Hill Country. We have an eclectic menu of international and local favorites, from Thai Lettuce Wraps to Chimichurri Grilled Beef Tenderloin to Bratwurst & Sauerkraut. Best of all, we brew great beer! We've already won three gold and three silver medals at the World Beer Championships! Enjoy the ambience as well! Sit on our covered deck and watch the ducks play on the century-and-a-half old mill pond of Cibolo Creek, have an intimate dining experience in one of our lakehouse-style dining rooms, or sit at the wraparound bar and talk beer with the brewmaster (or talk Boerne with the locals)!
This restaurant is located next to the river with outdoor seating. The place was full but I got seated quickly. The food was great, waitress seemed a bit overwhelmed and kept telling me she would be right back with a refill of my water that never happened. The food and atmosphere made up for the lack of water. The great thing is that you can take a stroll along the river to walk off the calories.

This was a very good surprise and a lot Fun for lunch. Outdoor seating only with umbrellas. A menu of about nine or so sandwiches some are unusual but very good served with chips. The gift shop is well worth exploring. Lots of specialty foods.

Lounge on the broad, breezy wraparound porch, cocktail in hand. Step into a lovingly restored 19th century dining room to savor contemporary interpretations of Southern heritage foods and classic American dishes. Sit down to a familiar, casual, satisfying menu influenced by seasonal bounty from area farms and the affinity of beef and mesquite smoke that is the soul of the Hill Country.
Very delicious lunch with my husband on a Saturday. We were trying to find a new place in Boerne that we hadn’t eaten at. This was exactly what we hoped for, excellent oyster po-boy, as well as crab cake on fried green tomato. Will definitely go back soon.

We dropped in here during a shopping excursion and had great service and a nice little lunch. Service was attentive and most enjoyable. The menu had a good selection of soups & salads, sandwiches, and desserts. We enjoyed a Cuban sandwich and a Muffuletta and both were delicious. The homemade Potato Chips were crispy and fresh.
My only regret is that we didn't have room for dessert! Thumbs up!

This place is a unique Boerne experience...clearly it's a hangout for the upper crust of Hill County and it's easy to see why. It's an arty collection of shops with a fun restaurant and coffeeshop. The sandwiches and desserts are standouts. Service is fast and friendly. I liked the overall organization of the restaurant with uniformed staff and an efficient ordering bar and takeout service. But you'll want to linger, chat and people watch. The place calls out for you to slow down, kick into a conversation and savor a fine coffee and dessert.
