I was back in the Detroit area after several years. With a friend we went to have a dinner at Streetside. The restaurant is relatively small and in case I would recommend a reservation. The atmosphere is beautiful. Staff friendly and polite. Menu offers both fish and meat. We had fried Calamari as appetiters and Filet Mignon as main course. Both of them were delicious. Finally we got Fudge Sundae and Spec Sundae, both ok. The wine list is fine with a wide choice of international wines. Overall the price per person was in the range of $55. I strongly recommend to go there.

Bill’s draws inspiration from the neighborhood and its rich history, creating a setting that is modern but with old-world charm. The creatively classic menu easily incorporates the food of a French bistro, Italian trattoria and American social club. Whether you’re here for lunch, dinner, breakfast, brunch or drinks, you’ll delight in our sophisticated yet comfortable space.
I visited Bill's shortly after it opened and vowed never to return....the noise level was beyond belief and the electronic/tablet wine list was a royal pain. Broke my vow several nights ago and was glad I did. The ambience is vastly improved, the noise level greatly reduced.....and of course the menu and the wait staff have always been good. I a hard-copy wine list has replaced the electronic version. Wahoooo! We'll be back.

Sunday dinner with friends (party of 12) was very pleasant. Ambiance is very nice. We dined during restaurant week and the selection of meals was great. Prefix dinner or your choice off the reg menu. My hubby had the prefix dinner of bone in NY 14 oz steak which was very moist and flavorful!, cooked perfect! The mashed potatos were outstanding too. I ordered off the reg menu, had the scallops with asparagus and parsnip puree. Scallops were large and cooked to perfection. I had fresh fruit (mix of berries, super sweet) and the flourless chocolate cake was really good as well. Service was great. We did have a couple of steaks overcooked but they quickly replaced them. Our waitress Kristy was wonderful, super nice!

For more than 25 years, our sophisticated menu of contemporary American food has drawn guests from far and wide. You can’t beat the vibe of Beverly Hills Grill. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served seven days a week, and our weekend brunch is simply legendary. With a menu and décor inspired by the Californian city of Beverly Hills, we’re small enough to feel cozy but big on both flavor and style.
This is one of our most favorite restaurants. It is a small place with only a few tables and you cannot make reservations. The food is excellent, the waiters are very friendly and you always feel very welcome.
After being overseas for a couple of years this was one of the first places we revisited. And we were not disappointed. Glad to be home again.

Since our last visit to Ray's Ice Cream, 4233 Coolidge Hwy near Normandy Rd, Royal Oak Michigan, my wife and I have returned several times. Ray's is a stand-out phenomenal ice cream shop as good as you will find anywhere. The staff are very friendly and helpful and PATIENT as you oogle the overhead menu to decide upon your choices. We enjoy sitting inside, either at the counters or in the seats beside the door. What could be more fun on a hot evening that a visit to Ray's? Answer : Few things indeed.

Stopped on my way home for my first visit. Drunken noodle was very good. The noodles were not too heavy. A little too mild for my taste but typical for the area. Service was a little slow. They appeared to have trouble covering all the table. Worth a try if your nearby.

This is a family owned and run donut shop on Woodward in Pontiac. The donuts are wonderfully made with a nice variety. Our favorite which is hard to come by unless you go first thing in the morning is the long John with a maple glaze and a whole strip of bacon. The flavors and textures are awesome together . I realized since I am not a morning person, I've probably missed out on some of the more interesting combos because by the time I get there, they literally are practically sold out on all. One time I came around 12:00 or a little later and there was a sign that said " sorry sold out". I'm really happy that they have loyal customers. We are a donut family because we love a good donut. This is by far the best we have had.

Good food but noisy on a Sunday. The background music from the 1980's didn't quite set the tone for us. Breakfast was like I made it at home. I'm not a good breakfast maker :(. The experience was interesting. Slow service. I'm sorry to leave an unfavorable review. We'll try again in case this was just one of those "off" days. Thanks TOAST just the same

I went there with a colleague. The place is characteristic of old western places with moose head showed at the entrance. Overall a place simple and welcoming. Staff kind and efficient. WE had Buffalo Oaf and Ribbs (photos). Both were very good. So I would recommend this place for a dinner with friends or a family dinner. Good the beers choice.
