No trip to Block Island is complete without getting ice cream from The Ice Cream Place at least once. The line might appear long, but there are plenty of workers, and they are fast and efficient. Lots of flavor choices, and they have always accommodated those in our group with nut allergies.

We've just returned from our tent wedding on Block Island and from our first contact with Kimberly to our last, our experience was absolutely wonderful. She kept me calm, there was nothing she couldn't answer, she provided wonderful menu options and the food was just delicious. Our wedding guests raved about it! Her waitstaff are friendly and professional. I highly recommend Kimberly's for your special event!

Payne's Killer Donuts is a Block Island institution. Owned and operated by the Payne family for over 50 years, Payne's Killer Donuts has a huge following. The shop opens at 7:00 a.m. each morning in season and the line often starts forming at 6:30. In addition to delicious, warm donuts we serve soft ice cream, an assortment of beverages and Del's Lemonade.
Housed in a little trailer on the outskirts of New Harbor, all you have to do is follow the aroma of hot donuts. Yum! While waiting for your order they've got tables and chairs to use or you can eat there too. They only make 3 kinds of donuts - plain, cinnamon and sugar, but they sure are good. How can you go wrong with hot donuts. A dozen of these and two so-so cinnamon rolls set us back $21 so it's not cheap, but then nothing on BI is.

Memorial Day through Columbus Day the 1661 Inn serves its renowned full champagne buffet breakfast each morning. The breakfast buffet features an omelet station, homemade corned beef hash, eggs, pancakes or french toast and a whole lot more! During the quieter seasons, a smaller version of our buffet is available as well. For the 2016 summer season, we will be introducing a small appetizer menu, desserts and flaming coffees at the new 1661 bar starting at 5:00pm.
upscale breakfast buffet with REAL, handmade scrambled eggs, sausage, pancakes, corned beef hash, beans, fresh salmon and make your own bottomless mimosas. also, omelettes made to order and served to your table, pastries, fruit and toast. outdoor or deck seating with awesome ocean view. Hostess (who i think is the owner) was very pleasant and accommodating and even brought us edible flowers. pretty cool. not the cheapest breakfast around but definitely the best breakfast i've ever eaten on BI.

Recently went here for dinner with my husband off of a friends recommendation. Sat down around 8:30 pm after a 30 min wait and place was still packed. Entrees are large, dont spoil your appetite too much with an app or the bread. I ordered the Halibut and despite it being delicious, I could not finish my meal. My husband's stomach is bottomless and he enjoyed the calimari app and the pork belly entree. All of the food was delicious and thoughful. We were so happy with the service, drink menu, etc, we would highly recommend.

We were told to come here for dollar oysters. Sorry that was last month. Ok no worries - but decent food would have been nice. Instead we got greasy rubbery and flavorless calamari. The worst crab cakes - 90%breadcrumbs. We ran out as fast as we could and had to buy another lunch. That's how bad it was.

One of the oldest restaurants on the island, Dead Eye Dick's was completely renovated in 2010. Now open for lunch, dinner and drinks daily. Menu focuses on fresh seafood and coastal New England cuisine. Sit on our outdoor deck overlooking New Harbor and enjoy beautiful sunset views. The indoor dining room easily accommodates large groups. Reservations available for inside only. Check out our website for menus, photos and further information.
We had dinner (party of six) and restaurant was great. Atmosphere was a big loud, but so were we. Drinks from the bar were great. We mixed it up between swordfish, lobster roll, and a few steaks. Everything was great. Oyster selection was great as well.

We have been going here for years and will continue to support. Great beers on tap and the chicken sandwich is AMAZING. kids love it, close to town and beaches . Staff is great. Can be a long wait so be prepared to have a cocktail before being seated or play a game outside.
