Expect a wait, even for seating at the bar, but still a treat. Watch food preparation while waiting in a street front alcove. The cuisine is outstanding. Service is timely and flexible. Not overbearing, but always at the ready. This is by far the best of the North Country.

We were afraid we would not find a place to eat, but we were happy we found this. I had the best hamburger I have had in a long time, if ever. My wife had a great club. We had some great corn chowder and sweet potato fries. Since it is a dairy bar, and since I am an ice cream a holic, I had ice cream. It was very good, and it was huge. They have a great selection and everything is home made. Great experience.

Delicious and hearty breakfast sandwich and creamy whole milk. Nice friendly vibe. Browse the bookstore or catch up on news from home while you wait.

Today May 2ND 2016 at 8:30 AM I visited this location to order a bagel with cream cheese toasted. I simply asked to have the bagel cut in half being I was in my truck and it would be easier to eat. I was told they would NOT cut it for me and they would give me a plastic knife to cut myself. HEY, I'M IN MY TRUCK DRIVING AND FORGOT MY CUTTING BOARD!!!! Every DD I've been to has always done this for me, no questions asked. I told this to the male voice on the speaker and he said it was against store policy as if they were to be cut by the knife, the owner didn't want to be sued. WHAT??? You use a knife to cut the bagel to toast and spread on cream cheese, but you can't slice it in half at the request of a paying customer? I'm writing to corporate on this and will copy the store manager. If this truly is your policy, you should be fired! When I told my wife what happened should couldn't believe it and yes she actually worked in DD for a while and said they did it all the time and no one ever was cut and sued DD.

My wife and I stopped in while staying in the area. We both ordered breakfast, which consisted of the seasonal pumpkin latte, two doughnuts, two breakfast wraps, and breakfast sandwiches.
Firstly, the latte was made perfectly and the flavors all complemented each other. Being a former barista myself, I enjoy finding a barista who has the skill to steam properly. In regards to the sandwiches and doughnuts, they're par for the course. Tasty, but the highlight here was definitely the latte.

Who could ask for more! I hadn't been to Berlin since the early 90s and this little restaurant was next to the florist I stopped at. It came highly recommended by the florist owner so I tried it. I had the Two Willies, a special that day, and they were amazing! Two Willies are two small fish sandwiches made with fresh haddock. I planned to take one with me but they were so good I ate both. I had a small fry with them and the fries were delicious as well. The owners welcomed me warmly and made me feel right at home, couldn't do enough for me! If I'm ever back in the area I will definitely stop in! I highly recommend this place as a go-to while you're in Berlin.

Saalt & Libby’s Bistro came highly recommended to us; we now highly recommend to everyone! Unique, creative, worldly and enticing menu - from the mixology to apps, salads, mains and desserts. They are pros at combining ingredients for delightful flavors.
After hiking all day, we had to control ourselves from ordering too much.
We agreed we need to plan all hiking in this area to ensure we eat dinner at Saalt afterward (i.e., not open Mon. & Tues.).

We had a group of people to feed and this place was suggested by many people. The steak and cheese pizza was amazing! We had the veggie, supreme, meat lovers, cheese and pepperoni and they were gobbled up like our friends have never had pizza before. We will definitely go back the next time we are in Berlin. The staff were wonderful and threw in soda for the group. The location is not the best and it was a bit run down but don't let that detour your visit because the pizza was well worth it!

On Saturday Sept 26 we stopped here with our ATV tour guides from Moose Poop tours for lunch during our day of ATV riding. They were easily accessible from the ATV trails and had a menu to please everyone. From sandwiches to salads and much more. Our group left full and happy - ready to take on the rest of the afternoon riding! (And light options were available for those of us who didn't want a heavy lunch bouncing around on the trails after we ate).

Saw this place as we drove into town, decided this was going to be supper. Price was quite reasonable, did their Greek pizza which was tasty and different. The thin crust was good, although it is a bit hard to hand hold the slices as they fold easily.
