Treat your family and friends to a night at Texas Roadhouse.
We live close to the Bensalem, PA Texas Roadhouse. It never fails to deliver a great meal for us. We enjoy a number of their dinner entrees. We met friends for dinner this past Wednesday and took advantage of their Wednesday Special. A Sirloin Steak, 2 Veggies and a Bloomin Onion along with their sweet rolls and whipped buttery mix.
We all choose a Salad with our one veggie choice. Their salads a a nice size and very fresh and tasty. The steaks were delicious and getting older, we eat less, so we took home enough for a nice lunch. Service was great as usual. Using my Veterans discount, Monday thru Thursday, which I certainly appreciate, including a tip was $28.00 for two.
We are so glad this restaurant is only 5 minutes from our home.
They also have early bird specials if you eat dinner early.

It's wonderful having a restaurant nearby you can count on for consistently good meals. We do tend to get stuck in a rut with our order preferences. Luckily Toscano 52 offers a special page (changing weekly) on the back of their menu featuring the foods & wines of different towns & regions which often makes us try something new. A recent special enjoyed was a thick Lentil Soup topped with a Cheesy Toast Slice. From their regular menu we tried Eggplant Caponata Bruschette along with our entrees of Cedar-Plank Grilled Salmon w/ Potatoes Fontina Torta & Grilled Asparagus for him and Bronzino Aquapazza with tomatoes, olives & capers & served with Roasted Potatoes. So good.....

The King George II Inn established in 1681 is on the National Historic Registry as one of the oldest continuously operated Inns. We serve lunch and dinner 7 days a week with a view of the Delaware River from 2 of our 5 dining rooms. Join us!
A meal at the King George is the perfect ending to an afternoon's entertainment at nearby Bristol Riverside Theater. The service is friendly, the food is affordable and very good. Forgoing the usual Wednesday special (Crab Cakes on Crabby Wednesday), we opted for a surf & turf dining experience. We started off with an item from their appetizer menu: Shrimp & Grits - Gulf Shrimp, sautéed with bacon bits, served over creamy cheddar grits & finished with a slightly spicy creole sauce. So good; add a salad to this appetizer & you have a complete meal. For our entrees we both ordered steak. He enjoyed his Grilled 8oz Filet served with Garlic & Shallot Mashed Potatoes with Demi Glace. I made short work of my Grilled 8oz Beef Filet also served with Garlic & Shallot Mashed Potatoes and Sautéed Spinach. Afterwards we enjoyed two delicious desserts: an unusual combination of Rice Pudding w/ Raspberry Sorbet & fresh berries for him and Baby Chocolate Cake w/ Chocolate Ice Cream & Chocolate Sauce for me.

I had high expectations since the owners have another establishment we frequent & enjoy but I think I'd only patronize here again for their wide range of local craft beers, cocktails and music!
Although the environment is nice enough, a waitress was scrubbin down outside tables while we dined; who wants to have that next to them while out to relax & dine!!! There are 2 different outside seating areas and although dining al fresco can be awesome, the flies out back were a big distraction & gross. Maybe a screened-in area out back would be better. I wasn't impressed with their ceviche; the pieces were too big for the homemade chips so it kept falling to the tabletop & floor and there simply wasn't enough flavor. They offer daily specials so I ordered shrimp tacos from the specials but was given the regular menu's tacos which were a fish taco. I didn't realize until my first bite that they were made of fish, tilapia. I'm a seafood lover vut I do not and will not eat tilapia since it's mostly farm raised! When I told the waitress, they took price of my drink off the menu was was less than half the price of the tacos; I had to tell her I didn't order those tacos and their cost should come off the tab; she obliged but really?! Low & behold, I only had ceviche for lunch, I was never offered an option or the correct item and I couldn't wait to get out of there to make myself something to eat at home. I left wondering how far in advance they prep their food since even lemons & limes seemed dried out and garnish just didn't do anything for plate appeal! Oh btw, the staff could be a lot more congenial and say "hello" or at least smile when eyes meet! I am a foodie and have many positive experiences; writing this was difficult for me but realistic.

It seems to be a hit and miss at Carrabba's. We stopped in Roanoke and had the best stuffed pork chops but today I had lunch with a friend in Bensalem and I ordered the lasagna and it was tasteless. Apparently they have a meat sauce but I did not see a pinch of meat in it. I was very disappointed. My server asked how our food tasted so I told her I didn't like it. The manager did stop by and said I heard you didn't like your lasagna. I told him I am fussy and I thought it had no flavor. He didn't offer an alternative but sometimes an entree is good then there are days like this where you wish you ordered something else. Maybe it is the Bensalem location because this seems to be the only location that I am not satisfied. Willow Grove is probably the Carrabba's I will go to in the future.

First of all, I love the look of the place. They have a great selection of Oktoberfest beer. The menu is outstanding with a great variety of German cuisine. The food came out super fast and the wait staff was excellent. Definitely worth a trip even if it is out of the way.

Yeah it's the holidays and there really aren't that many good places to eat around here so we went. Food is just so so and service is hit or miss. Today our meal went to a pair of men sitting at the bar across from us - they started eating it and realized it was not their meal! They never told anyone it was not theirs. Who does that! It was ours and I told the bartender Immmm I don't want it even though one of the dishes was not touched. Seriously, the person ordered fish and started eating chicken. Manager tried to make it right but when you are in a mood from waiting and dealing with ignorant people not a good mix. Servers and bartenders need to pay more attention instead of talking on their phones!

We eat here at least once a month. Service is great, food is always delicious and portions are generous. A great local spot that takes care of it's customers both regulars and new. Gives back to the community as well which is great. Get there early on sunday.. it gets busy quick but turnaround is always prompt.

Parx Casino's(R) upscale signature restaurant, featuring a unique menu of classic steakhouse cuisine alongside chef-inspired seasonal specialties. With seating for over 100 guests, a private dining room for larger groups and an intimate cocktail bar, Parxgrill is an unforgettable dining experience.
We had dinner here recently with friends. It was amazing! I had the Scallops and they were incredible! Done perfectly, no sand, and accompanied by wonderfully roasted brussel sprouts, with yellow squash slices. Very Very good! The staff was friendly and out going, wanting to make you feel at home. This is a rather pricy restaurant, but the food and service are worth it. Only 1 regret, that it is in a smoke filled Casino! The Parx Casino does not do a very good job at ventilation for the Smoke, and you can still smell it while you are trying to experience this fabulously cooked meal! I think the experience would be so much better if they could be in a separate building from the Casino. Inspite of the smoke I highly recommend PARXGRILL.

Went there for dinner last night on a Friday. It took over an hour for our sushi rolls to come out. Was the food good? Yes. Would I ever go back? No! Service was absolutely terrible. When we asked what was the problem, we were told they had a lot of take-out orders. We saw 4 sushi chefs back there, We've been to many popular sushi places on a busy night that had lots of take-out orders to manage as well. But we never sat at a table waiting for dinner to come out more than an hour from the soup and salad. Even that took a long time to get to the table. They were not apologetic, just matter-of-fact saying there were a lot of take-out orders and that sushi takes a long time to come. Those orders seem to supersede people who are actually dining in the restaurant. We would've ordered another couple of rolls, but were not willing to wait another hour. We've been to other good places in that area, and we'd go back to one of those again before ever setting foot in this place. My boyfriend normally is a very generous tipper, and he only left 10% because the service was so horrendous.
