Authentic Irish pub atmosphere, but better food, LOL Great burgers, and classic pub grub. Warm, friendly atmosphere.

Coming Soon!
We visited Chachama on a December Friday evening. The restaurant was crowded and we were thankful that friends had made a reservation.
We were seated quickly. Our waitress explained the specials before taking our drink orders. The menu was varied and the specials all sounded delicious, but ultimately I ordered steak off the menu
The bartender visited our table to confirm our drink orders and ask exactly which spirits we would like on our drinks - a nice touch. The drinks were expertly prepared and delicious.
The food matches the drinks - very tasty and expertly prepared. Everyone was happy with their selections. The service was also quite good.
We will be back if in the area.

Found this totally unassuming little place on a Sat nite while out driving with the top down looking for a good seafood meal. Now it just might be a fave of ours. Totally wonderful food. Started with a dozen clams and two beers. Then Cajun Shrimp for my co pilot and grilled tellapia for me. Everything is made to order and so freah and delicious. Dessert ???? You bet ! Lemon Marenge pie, a a good cup of coffee.
They take reservations , so make some as it's a pretty small place. We will be back.

Given its strip mall location you don't expect much but Gia's surprises. Very good food across the board, starting with the complimentary pizza bread and right through the entree's and especially the specials. Whether you sit down for dinner or just stop in for some pizza or to go the take-out route its well worth a visit.

The place is very clean and well run. The food is delicious and they have a nice wine list. However, the place is cramped and very loud. I can't get comfortable here. They have a few seats for outdoor dining though. All in all its worth the trip and is one of the finer dining establishments in Bellport. My wife loves it and the atmosphere does not bother her.

A timeless tradition for many & an undiscovered treat for others. Carla Marlas is a seasonal sweet shack located In Bellport Village across from PORTERS on the lane serving Old fashioned Ice Cream Floats, Sodas, Egg Creams, Sundaes & more! Along with a nostalgic candy selection thats sure to bring back some childhood memories or create some new ones! We Stock all the classic flavors along with some new & seasonal rotating stock flavors the reason its rotated being ..."We're small so we can't fit em all" but we try our hardest to bring everyone a little something they love! Even the pups have a seating option by the tree out front where there is pooch parking In the meantime their owners can grab em a Doggie Ice Cream Dixie cup from inside the shoppe which is one of our favorite products we carry because it means the whole family can have a sweet treat to stay or to go :)
After dinner across the street at Porters we all sat outside and ordered from a large assortment of ice cream desserts. Only recommendation would be to have staff clean the out door seats occasionally.

Off of the southern state at exit 57 south, PAINTERS' RESTAURANT, 10,000sq. ft of fun & the avant garde of restaurants. The walls are packed with art from ceiling to floor with the work of local and NYC artists; all for sale. The menu rivals the creativity on the walls with offerings from the "GENIUS" burgers (everybody loves the "andy warhol burger" even though its not a burger) to chef Luis Marin's latin twist on the san francisco seafood classic "cioppino" or seseme crusted ahi tuna. The menu is eclectic to say the least. We have our own version of "tapas" we call YUM with ASIAGO GARLIC BREAD, 5 KINDS OF NACHOS, SUSHI TUNA, FRENCH ONION SOUP...it goes on. We also offer a SAT AND SUN BRUNCH 11-4 (tip: THE CAJUN BAYOU BREAKFAST has eggs shrimp and grits). But its our atmosphere of art (lots of our local artists are often inhabiting the bar), community and fun that makes PAINTERS' the suffolk county place to be.
The vibe is great and the drinks are very good. The food came out quick and hot. One person ordered a hamburger and that came out great. Another person ordered the chicken Marsala and it was way to tangy and sweet. The last person ordered a burger with no bun and it was awful. Totally charred on the bottom and they charge a three dollar up charge if you want veggies. The coleslaw was good but not good enough to save the burger. We had to send it back. We had gotten the chili cheese fries that were just ok along with a Caesar salad which was very fresh!! Our waitress was ok and the bus boys were right on top of it!! A definite three stars if it wasn't for the drinks and the vibe! I would go back now that I know what to order.

We just stopped for dinner in Belport NY
A wonderful place that used to have a lot of people, models and actresses that wanted more affordable housing than the Hamptons. It's a beautiful town, historic
Where Jackie Kennedy used to summer when her mother was between husbands and wanted to go where it is beautiful but
Not crazy expensive on the water.
The Belport is owned by a wonderful Chef
Who just lost his wife.
The food is very very good. And he is a lovely man. Belport is an adorable town worth visiting. Antique shops.

This was our first time here and decided to try it based on the positive overall feedback we read. Very disappointing. We ordered beef sukiyaki and a bento box with chicken teriyaki and beef negimaki. We started the meal with miso soup and salad. Both were fine. I have had better miso soup, but this one was fair. Everything in the beef sukiyaki was tasteless except for the broth. The meat was tough, the vegetables were sparse except for cabbage, and I really would have liked at least ONE mushroom! The chicken teriyaki was tasty, but everything else in the bento box was way below average. The negimaki was tough and dry, overcooked. One was even burned. The shumai was also disappointing. They seemed reheated. No sauce with them, which probably would have helped. The california roll, I'm not really sure how you can mess these up but they did. It was rolled so poorly, with hardly any rice that they all fell apart. The positives: Nice atmosphere, pleasant and attentive wait staff, plenty of parking, and a nice blend of dishes offered on the menu. Unfortunately, the food disappointed us too much for us to want to return.

I read other reviews on the South Ocean Grill, and decided to trust them with my wife's birthday dinner. They did not disappoint. Our cocktails, appetizer (fried lobster and crab ravioli) and main course was fantastic. They even made it more special by acknowledging her birthday. Our server was very nice and attentive. We will most definitely return. Keep in mind to make a reservation because it is a small but intimate dining area. It can get a little loud, but it's the good kind of noise, people enjoying themselves.
