We ate twice, one inside and once taking 50lbs of boiled crawfish to go. This place boiled Louisiana style seafood right. Spicy seasoning is just right and cooked the perfect length of time. The boiled dinner comes with crab, shrimp, and crawfish all in good quantity on first delivery to table. We had all you can eat and you could choose what you wanted more of each time. Fabulous!
The crawfish to go was likewise excellent. They put it in a lined and covered box. No ice chest needed. Easy way to enjoy boiled seafood at home.

Had dinner there last nite. Macaroni and cheese - great. Excellent veal cutlets, better than some fine dining Italian restaurants I've been to. Wife's hamburger steak was excellent. All sides were excellent. Good service and clean establishment. Can't wait to go back.

I arrived at New Orleans Food and Spirits already angry because I had been in its parking lot twice that night but could not find its sign. There were in fact two or three signs, but one was unlighted, one faced Lapalco (it could not be seen from the parking lot) and one was a half-lighted sign on a stanchion which did not face the parking lot.
We ordered drinks at the bar to calm down, but the bartender had to be instructed on what is a Sauvignon Blanc and I was admonished by the maître d'hôtel for having moved a bar stool one foot to the left. There is not much décor in the waiting area, and the two of us could not be seated without the full party. However, by then the two of us had drinks. The floor looks dirty in the waiting area, although I did not want to investigate too closely.
The four of us had a good server and the food was quite good and quite abundant. She admitted that the restaurant's signage was poor and implied a conflict with the owner/manager of the shopping center.
I recommend the Catfish Looziane because the catfish was fried well. The gumbo that accompanies was made with a good roux and filled with shrimp. The crawfish stew that also accompanies was also tasty, but the three items make too large a supper for most people, even though the price was right at $19.
One sign of a good restaurant is its visibility, but NOFS's cuisine almost made up for its poor visibility.

This is not your average place.. Not somewhere you can go have indoor seating or anything like that, but everything they have to offer is amazing.. the hamburgers are one of the juiciest hamburgers and the snow cones are just filled with so much goodness. I will drive the 15 mins to go here and get my fix vs right down the road. YOU SHOULD TOO.

I went once, and had to go back. It's NOT an Irish Pub, as the name implies.
Everything we ordered was delicious. Appetizers incredible, especially the BBQ shrimp. Crab & Brie soup was fantastic. The chocolate desert was sooooo chocolate, and the lemon cheesecake was light and fluffy. I want to go back.
Off the beaten trial of the Business District but driving by freeway it's just three traffic signals from the superdome, about 12-15 minutes. Great service. Nice atmosphere.

Good coffee and pastries. Was the best coffee in the immediate area, was happy we stopped. Ladies were friendly and helpful. Hope they remain in business.

Since we were staying at the Naval Air Station we went to the Blue Angle for drink and food. We found out they don't have food. It's more of a hangout for bar flies. The sign by the cash register says it all. No weapons allowed, guns, knifes, batons, tasers, forks, spoons, etc. must remain in vehicle. This is not the Thunderdome or a gladiator arena.

We never get tired of dining here because the specials are ever changing and the regular menu is so good, it is a hard choice to make. Everything we have ever had has been exceptional.

The buffet has Snow Crab, King Crab, Local Crab and some of the best Shrimp, Catfish and oysters I've had in a long time. The seafood gumbo was great. The Shrimp Poboy had Shrimp over-flowing the excellent french bread. I really was impressed with this place. The 1/2 Shrimp Poboy with a cup (more like a bowl) of gumbo was $16. The buffet was $40. Both worth the money. 12 and under the buffet was $20.

Do yourself a favor and visit this restaurant in Harvey. The cashier was very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. She communicated extremely well and helped us since this was our first visit. We received our food in less than 10 minutes. It was hot and accurate. The atmosphere in the restaurant was fun but family friendly. The waitress did a great job of checking on us and we were in and out for lunch in less than an 45 minutes. Can’t beat it.
