Located in the heart of Bel Air on the corner of Main Street and Pennsylvania Avenue, you won't be able to miss us! Experience the sights of downtown Bel Air's revitalized Main Street while sitting at the windows of our store, all while enjoying a delicious panini and quality glass of wine. Life doesn't get much better than that!
My first time visiting this local restaurant, but won't be my last. Large servings for a decent price. I tried the cranberry chicken salad, but couldn't finish it! We sat outside on the little patio area.

Great seafood carry out. Excellent steamed crabs. Good weekly specials, discounted small or female crabs. Great wings too, get them for our super bowl party. Staff is friendly. No seating. Be careful exiting the parking lot, it's on a busy street.

Box Hill Crabcakes is a family owned and operated restaurant in Abingdon, Maryland, and opened its doors in August 1984 with The Kanaras Brothers, Tom and Chris as the owners, along with their father George and mother Demetra who supported their sons as young entrepreneurs. With a strong commitment to customer service and satisfaction in a family-friendly environment, what once was a small eat-in, carry-out restaurant has expanded to a popular regional eatery with long-time, faithful customers who come in weekly to enjoy the "World Famous Crab Cakes," incredible Italian dishes, authentic Greek specialties and delicious hot and cold subs to name just a few of the menu favorites. Voted the area's best restaurant for crabcakes, give us a try and you too will be a satisfied customer who will be back for more! Thanks to the Internet you can now order our "World Famous Crab Cakes" securely online!
The correct name of this establishment is Box Hill Pizzeria, not Box Hill Crab Cakes, though I understand the confusion as they have a website with that name that caters to on-line crab cake orders. Why, because you will find no better crab cakes in Maryland - period!
First, Box Hill's crab cakes are all jumbo lump, Maryland Blue Crab meat and weigh in at 8 oz. each! There is very little filler - just enough to hold all of that delicious crab meat together. Box Hill ships their famous crab cakes all over the country and they make an excellent gift for anyone who enjoys crab cakes.
While the crab cakes may be the main attraction that keeps folks coming back year after year, Box Hill offers an excellent array of Italian, Greek and sub sandwiches too. There is adequate seating table service and a large parking lot.

My girlfriends and I enjoy eating At ChopStix. The lunch menu is unbelievable. They serve you soup, egg role and a rice dish. The food is good. I have enjoyed eating at this restaurant many times. My husband eat there last night. The place is always busy and the locals really enjoy it. Great value for your money.

I often visit Vagabond with a friend for a later evening burger or sandwich and good conversation. This past visit I opted for the cream of crab soup and the buttermilk ranch chicken breast sandwich. Sunny Day Cafe is a bright light in your day. Good simple food, friendly staff, and quaint little venue to gather and eat with smiling, chatting locals. When the weather cooperates, you can eat outside like you are at a city sidewalk cafe. A little gem in the heart of Bel Air!

We just moved into the area. We visited Plaza Mexico before we had a frig and were happy with the friendliness of the staff and the delicious food. We have gone back numerous times and have never been disappointed. My husband particularly likes Fajita Wednesday when the deals are as great as the food! There is such an abundance that I always have plenty for lunch the next day!

We recently had an early dinner at Pairings Bistro. The restaurant is attractively decorated and the staff was friendly and attentive. We are not wine drinkers so we did not do any pairings. We found the menu very hard to understand and even the explanation from the waiter was not clear. Was the roasted vegetables with beet risotto the price listed and how much would it be with scallops. This dish was mostly beet risotto, few roasted vegetables and the taste was okay. The fish was a large portion with virtually no sauce or taste. The kale salad also had very little dressing. We appreciate the farm to table approach, but a little more flavor would help. A better way to explain the menu might be to say that each item you order will be tallied to determine whether you had 3 or 4 pairings and then you'll know the cost. Overall, we were disappointed.
