I am new to this area but my coworkers highly recommended the Gyro House. It is located in a fairly residential area. It is a "no frills" place that reminds me of a deli or pizzeria. I can say that this is a great place to eat for a casual dining experience.
The service was a bit slow, but the lamb gyro I ordered was delicious! The portion size was huge and the gyro was so overstuffed with meat, veggies, cheese, and sauce that it was hard to eat without dripping food and sauces everywhere. But, aside from this I can highly recommend Gyro House. They also have a big menu of Greek gyro inspired pizzas that I am definitely going to try next time.

Went here for breakfast. Excellent and delicious choices. The place had a wait, but not too long. Our server was great-friendly, personable, attentive, and helpful. A definite change from our last visit here. Got the "Day Breaker" breakfast, with eggs, bacon, country potatoes, butternut squash, delicious crossoint. The other person got "Banana French Toast" with lots of French toast, slices of bananas, white chocolate sauce drizzled on it, candied walnuts. Both meals were so big that we took home half of each. Pastry case was full of yummy pastries and breads. We will return!

decarli restaurant is where rustic meets modern. Chef/owner, Paul DeCarli, pulls from his Swiss-Italian roots to create a menu that reflects his heritage as well as combine local Northwest ingredients. Polenta fries with gorgonzola butter, mussels in fennel-saffron cream sauce, and espresso-braised shortribs are just a few of the many "must-haves.” Soaring open beam ceilings with rustic brick walls add to the ambiance of this 1924 historic building.
Filet and Tagliatelle delicious! Service delectable! Ambience delightful! I had a lovely evening with my daughter!

We like to go to places for Happy Hour; even though we don't drink, it still makes me happy to have a nice variety of small dishes at a cheaper price.
We selected some pretty standard fare for comparison sake. We got spring rolls, fried calamari, pork Pad Thai, and shrimp and vegetable tempura. The spring rolls were full of fresh, good vegetables and not too greasy. The calamari was kind of bland -- not as flavorful as I would have liked, and there wasn't salt and pepper on the table. The Pad Thai was quite flavorful but the pork was a little dry. But the shrimp and vegetable tempure was my favorite -- a nice variety and the tempura batter wasn't too thick so that you could still taste the vegetables.
There were plenty of other choices on the Happy Hour menu, divided into groups by price. The lowest price was $2.99 and highest price was $6.99, which wasn't bad.
The server was friendly and attentive and the atmosphere was clean and peaceful. (One of my favorite things was the bamboo-looking water spout at the sink in the restroom -- check it out! I love those kinds of things!) Though I'm pretty picky, I definitely recommend this place as a cut above the average.

I would come here from Montreal just to get some sandwiches (like Voodoo). The Reuben, corned beef, pastrami, unbeatable west of Philly. Owner Chuck is a Cubs fan, decor is awesomely unique, food comes quick, and always get an extra to put in the fridge and eat later. Couldn't be better. Yeah, there is no parking in this ancient part of town, so just park a few blocks away and walk! It'll do you good and this ain't LA, the blocks are small and the walking easy.

I had the chicken pot pie, thinking it was a great cold day meal. It was so blah, the crust wasn't even flaky and good. I had my choice of a side vegetable and I picked green beans and they were awful, they had bacon in it that appeared to be all the fatty parts and the taste of the bacon was not good.
My husband had the chicken fried steak and hash browns and he loved his, my daughter had the cinnamon french toast and she said that was good. I guess I don't luck out, i try to eat healthy but have had terrible salads there in the past. Guess that is why I haven't been back in a long time!
Waitress seemed in a big rush even though there wasn't a line and they were not terribly busy.

Sweet Tomatoes features made-from-scratch soups and salads and handcrafted muffins, Focaccia, breads, and desserts. The menu is built around freshly made, great-tasting, wholesome recipes with a 55-foot salad bar full of fresh, seasonal vegetables and tossed salads prepared exhibition-style every 20 minutes. Sweet Tomatoes provides its guests with an excellent value by offering unlimited access to its entire menu of high quality fresh items at a fixed price.
We have a long history of visiting Sweet Tomatoes. But so many of them have closed in recent years that we don't see them very often anymore. This one is just OK. The food seemed a little colder and not as fresh as what we've been accustomed to at other Sweet Tomatoes. It's also a louder location than we're used to. Between the music (which I don't think I've seen at previous Sweet Tomatoes) and the sheer number of people, it's not a particularly relaxing environment.

I had diner here last week with a couple of friends. We had the Antipasti Italian cured meats, artisan cheeses and crostini as a starter. we all had main courses I had the Penne al Sugo di Carne, which is beef braised in Chianti and espresso, tossed with penne pasta. My friends had the Ravioli and the Lasagna. All the plates were cleared and the food was excellent. The service was very good especially as it was quite busy always a good sign. Would definitely go back.

We have eaten here several times and the food has always been tasty, service consistently timely and friendly.
They used to have a veggie sandwich that I loved but it's changed over time and now seems to be off the menu; I sure wish they'd bring that back. My husband likes their Portobello Burger. During my last visit I had their pasta special, a butternut squash ravioli with a sage-butter and almond sauce that was excellent -- as good as any I might find in more expensive restaurants.
The seating is spacious and reasonably quiet. Patrons should be mindful of the elevated booths that are not well signposted; during one visit, I forgot and ended up tripping.

We can't believe we stumbled on this place. It was just what we needed since eating Thai food in California a couple years ago. This place was amazing. The service was great and the food exceptional
