Northlake Cafe has great food, low prices, and quality service. I've been multiple times with friends and family and always enjoyed my meal and the service.

Don't order the Bulldog from the liqour menu unless you omit the pepsi so it wont curdle. The steaks are big!

We were looking for a new resort on Lake of the Woods and toured Cyrus Resort. Very impressed!! Went into the lodge for information and coffee - owners were very accommodating and so nice!! We checked out a couple of the cabins and they are awesome!! Large living rooms, several had two bathrooms, spacious and well-equipped! Rental prices are reasonable compared to other resorts in the area. They have an outdoor pool (it said on their brochure) which we didn't see when touring. Bar/restaurant looked very nice! Pool table and plenty of seating area. Very well kept up! Docks easily accessible with no stairs to the docks. Hoping to stay there next June! From our observations, looks like an awesome place to stay. My only concern is that some of the units were duplex type units with a common wall to another unit. Wondering how sound proof that wall is - wouldn't be fun if we had noisy, partying neighbors into the wee hours of the night.

I was a little worried because family restaurants usually do not have a good reputation. This one was different! The breakfast was quick and great. You can tell they prepare the food fresh! The restaurant is clean and the waitress we had real character.

Full service fishing resort at legendary Lake of the Woods, "The Walleye Capital of the World". Newly built lodge, restaurant, and bar offering a full menu. Lodging, charter fishing, meal plan are all available.
The resorts are the place to be during the summertime, and River Bend is the place to eat on Saturday nights. For a decent price (I think between $10-$15), you can partake in the all-you-can-eat fish fry with beans, coleslaw, and other great food. Seating is both outside and inside and sometimes involves live music. If you're in the area, you HAVE to try River Bend! Great views!

My neighbor and I had dinner at the Viewpoint Saloon on the first night of our 7 day stay. The burgers and onion rings were top shelf and the Linegnkugel beer brought back memories of college days in Wisconsin. The very large outdoor deck has some pretty spectacular views both up and down the Rainy River. They will even cook your catch for you if you like.

Having a quiet place to get a great cup of coffee and get online is important in any town. I love being able to get just the kind of coffee I feel like each day. My favorite have to be some of the spicy creations.
