A very comfortable and tasty steakhouse set inside an old mansion. There is a cozy cocktail lounge and bar in the rear, away from the dining room. The first floor of the house is the dining area, wonderfully decorated. There is a soup and salad bar, and the homemade soup was delicious! Wonderfully prepared steaks and lots of other selections. Wine was available by the glass. With the connected motel, this is a great travel stop.

Expansive menu, good food, excellent Guacamole! We've been several times and never disappointed except for having to wait for 20 minutes after we were finished eating for our check last night. Very busy, several birthdays going on. Wheelchair accessible, kids menu available.

A local couple recently remodeled and reopened this business and makes a darn good hamburger. While we also enjoyed the pork loin which appears it could have been made fresh as opposed to buying premade and some of the side items (corn nuggets, onion petals) the hamburgers were the best. This place also serves soft serve ice cream with different sundae and mixture options.

I was pleased to find a good place for lunch while on a cross country business trip. The food was great. The service was great. The place is nice. I had the Junk Ribs. They were great! So were the baked beans. The grilled green beans were fantastic. Mick the barkeep/waiter is a nice guy.

Stopped at the Dutch Pantry on a Saturday morning, the shop smelled wonderfully of fresh baked bread and simmering soup. Bread and dessert were sold as was deli meats.
Bulk baking supplies, spices and seasonings, candy and snacks filled the majority of the store. Great place to find anything needed for baking breads. Several different types of non sugar sweeteners were sold also. Prices were very reasonable.
Store is open M-F till 5 or 5:30 and Sat morning. Store faces north, building is white and the sign is small but its worth finding.

I just love this place. It is simple & has a very modest interior. The restaurant is family owned by the most friendly folks! They offer a buffet of several dozen items. My favorites are the salt & pepper shrimp, teriyaki chicken, broccoli chicken, & the salt & pepper chicken. Not everthing on the buffet is wonderful, but there are several dishes they do very well. They also offer a full menue for take out. The fresh made take out fried rice is much better than the fried rice offered on the buffet. The buffet is reasonably priced at around $8 for an adult. Great for quick dinning, which can be hard to do in Auburn.

Our group of four dined here and partook of the Sunday lunch buffet. The pies were tasty but could have been a bit warmer. That is often typical of buffet food though. In retrospect we should have just ordered a whole pie that likely would have arrived to the table fresh and hotter. Still the pizza on the buffet was pretty good. The staff was friendly and the restaurant was clean. We would likely eat here again when we are in Auburn.

This is nothing more than a quick shop that has the usual snack foods, i.e., hot dogs, sandwiches, homemade donuts, etc. but their pizza is something special especially when you consider they are very reasonably priced. They make their pizza dough from scratch and it's really good. Excellent flavor, right amount of chew, crispy on the bottom and perfectly done. My husband and I split a slice of hamburger pizza just as it was put out for sale at lunch. It's was excellent, better than allot of pizza places we'd been to, esp. the fast food ones! And it was $2.65 and more than enough for one person or in our case for us to split. They have a special for those who like sodas that you can get a slice and soda for cheap! Very clean and very well run and great customer service. There are not tables so it's all take out but worth it. They also make homemade donuts each and my husband loves those. I don't eat donuts as I used to work in a bakery and there were just too many around then and I don't care for them anymore.

This was a typical Subway visit. The staff was kind, the bathrooms were clean, the food was typical Subway fare. I appreciate that in a small town when we were running late on our way to Topeka that there was a familiar place to get a quick and reasonably healthy meal.
