Atoka (/əˈtoʊkə/) is a town in Tipton County, Tennessee, United States. Historians and genealogists can trace Atoka's origins back to the 1838 charter of Portersville. Atoka adopted Portersville's charter as its own. World War I Medal of Honor recipient Sgt. Joseph B. Adkison lived in Atoka, and he is buried nearby.

Reviews I had read suggested the owners were competition BBQ-ists. The ribs were OK but the pulled pork and chicken pretty dry and flavorless - we didn't have time to go into Memphis and was hoping for a near Memphis BBQ experience here - it didn't happen - reduce the quantity and increase the flavor please!

I have found a new love, the DQ Turkey BLT! I never know what to order at fast-food restaurants, so I'm always trying new things. This time I hit on the one I will always order at DQ. The sandwich comes on an artisan bun, and it came out nice and warm! It was perfect, so I hope all DQ's will prepare it the same way. Thank you Atoka DQ!

Visited Wyatt Earp's Resturant in Covington for the first time and we should have stayed at home. Service was fine and waitress was in no
control of the slow kitchen. When we did finally get the food it was over cooked and lukewarm. I don't
think the kitchen could handle that
many covers.

It doesn't look like much from the outside, but inside are many tasty delights. When in the South one must try the local homestyle cooking and what better place than Well's Kitchen. I enjoyed the fried pork chop which practically melted in my mouth. Along with the meat choice you are served 3 sides. I decided why not fried, fried, fried. I had fired green beans, fried corn on the cob and fried cherry pie. All were delicious. I tried some of my son's fried chicken, not too big a piece because he was enjoying it so much. Seated next to us were a couple of young men each enjoying a loaded baked potato. One had been there before and brought his cousin to try the food. His cousin couldn't say enough about how impressed he was with the food. When he saw the different foods on our table he said he definitely would have to return and try their extensive menu. And for dessert, if fried pie isn't your thing(After having one I don't see how anyone wouldn't enjoy one of their many different varieties.) there are other desserts to tempt and tantalize.

This is one of my family's favorite local places to eat. They gave a very good salad bar and have awesome banana pudding on it as a bonus. The menu has lots of options. My personal favorite is the parmesan chicken. It's always good. My husband likes the chicken fried steak. The pizza is always good too.

I met my brother Josh here for the first time so Sparky's will always hold a special place in my heart but the food is delicious and the people are family to anybody that walks through the door. It's very clean and the food is fresh and they don't cook it until you order it so you know it's fresh and hot right out of the oven when you get it. You'll love this little bit of heaven. The food and people are amazing. If you're looking for a place to get authentic world famous southern BBQ then this is the place to go.

Ate there 02/15. Restaurant is on the main highway a bit out of town, but well worth the drive. It appears to be a remodeled Waffle House but is clean and inviting. Service is outstanding, prompt and friendly. Prices are reasonable. Your business seems to be appreciated. The menu has a wide selection of breakfast items including some that are unusual for breakfast fare.
I had eggs, true crispy bacon, hash browns, pancakes freshly made and hot while wife had a large veggie omelet. Both were fantastic. Add coffee, OJ and a glass of milk and our total before tip came to: 25.55. We can highly recommend this restaurant.

Dinner buffet items change daily and tonight's choices were soup, salad, three pizzas and three pastas. All were very good. Tuesday and Thursday prime ribs is the special and Fridays are seafood night. If buffet is not your cup-of-tea a large menu is offered. Full bar is offered.. Service is great; Emily waited on me tonight and was friendly and helpful. Large dining rooms are tastefully decorated and exceptionally clean. A keeper!

We went here for dinner last weekend, while visiting family. It was fairly quiet for a Friday night so we were seated immediately. I ordered a sushi roll and hibachi chicken. The meal comes with both a salad and miso soup. The miso was good, however the dressing on the salad was very bland. My eel roll was ok, not the best I have had and quite small. My son wasn't thrilled with his spicy tuna roll either. While the sushi wasn't great, the hibachi chicken was really good-- possible the best I have ever had. I would highly recommend the hibachi to anyone! Skip the sushi and go straight to the hibachi items and you won't be disappointed.

If this is the best burger joint in town - this town is in trouble! Ordered 1/2 pound burger, not fresh meat for sure, still had heartburn 5 hours later. Fries were cold, soggy, and stuck together on my plate - nasty to say the least. We ordered a "fresh vegetable" side - what came to our table was old and dried out celery and carrots, which were supposed to come with dipping sauce and no sauce showed up. We sent that side back and told the waitress to remove it from our bill. Waitress was friendly, not her fault at all. Food was definitely not good at all, place was not busy, price for this disaster was $17.00 including the most overpriced glasses of cocoa cola...... Skip this joint and go with the standard fast food burger fare.
