The traditional flavors of Spain and Portugal are highlighted in all our dishes here in the heart of historic Fernandina Beach. Sip on homemade Sangria or enjoy a glass of wine from a list of hand picked selections (International and Californian). Choose from a menu of hot and cold tapas, "just caught" fish or meat entrees including the national dish of Spain, Paella. You can choose to dine in our cozy main dining room, bright enclosed patio dining room or lush garden dining area which is open generally Thursday - Sunday and weather permitting :) Chef Roberto is a second generation restaurateur, with over 28 years experience. He endeavors to make your evening a memorable one by bringing both his own family recipes, and inspiration from trips to Spain and Portugal for you to savor and enjoy. Family owned and operated since 2004. The Original on Amelia Island!
Wow!!!! I can not say enough about this restaurant. Firstly, it takes reservations, secondly, the food was amazing! We had four tapas and a salad, and everything was deelish!!! And thirdly, the service was wonderful. Our water glasses were never more than half empty, and the staff made a group effort to serve us. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Join us for local and regional favorites served with gracious Southern hospitality. Attire is resort sophisticated. Rated AAA Five-Diamond. Reservations recommended.
We went with another couple to Salt for dinner two weeks ago. We have eaten at many fine dining restaurants over the years and this ranks as one of our best experiences by far.
The service was top notch. Every part of our meal was good starting with the bread and butter--adding in samples of their special salts. We tried a shrimp/grit appetizer that was quite good--a little smokey but delicious never the less. I had a grass fed tenderloin and it was delicious. Wife had a grouper dish I believe. It was also quite good. We finished with a soufflé that was just absolutely amazing. Every aspect of our meal was first class. We would heartily recommend anyone who likes fine dining go to Salt.

Fresh. Seasonal. Made-from-Scratch. Burlingame makes fine dining experiences accessible in a comfortable environment. A small seasonally changing menu of perfectly composed dishes is complimented by top quality service in this restored 1940's home. Chef Chad Livingston trained at the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY and honed his skills at Salt at the Ritz Carlton, Amelia Island. At Burlingame his creativity shines! Coupled with an interesting and eclectic selection of wines, beers a meal at Burlingame is one to remember - and repeat! Burlingame is available for private dining. The Glass Room is perfect for groups from 20 to 30 and Ethel's Room is ideal for smaller groups.

It used to be our favorite! But the last 3 times we went, they were OUT of out of our choice of Entrees! And last night, out of our choice of desert as well!! Our waitress was rude, not wanting to bring us extra table bread... shed be great yelling orders in a truck stop, or dennys, but not here. Slowest service ever last night! THIS PLACE HAS GOT TO GET IT TOGETHER OR IT WONT LAST!!! sorry folks but truth hurts!

Pizza Delivery, dine in, or take out. Self service Pizza Joint.
We went to Pi while visiting Amelia Island for a business conference. Thanks to the great reviews Pi had online, we enjoyed some amazing pizza!! The cost was just the perfect balance of thin but chewy, and as they advertise- infinite ways to make it your own. You order either a very large (advertised as 10 inches) slice or a whole pizza that is 20 inches. They have some interesting combinations ( no substitutions) as well as salads and even wine. The best part is the quiet little courtyard with a water fountain. If we are ever back in the area, we will definitely stop back here!

My husband and I went to Le Clos on the recommendation of a close friend. He had eaten there three years ago. The restaurant has been around for 23 years. We could tell it was popular with return customers by the way they were greeted when they arrived. We were very excited to go and very disappointed by the time we left. We ordered the steak and fries, which was good, and the special fish of the day, which was cod. It was unfortunately pretty bad. A very small piece with a butter cream sauce over mashed potatoes. The mashed potatoes were possibly the worst I've ever had. They tasted like they were made with water. Didn't even eat them. Our server raved about the Caesar salad. It was just a Caesar salad. We also had a wonderful bottle of Sancere wine and there was one glass left in the bottle. My husband ordered a glass of red wine to drink as he finished his steak and our server poured it into the glass he had been drinking the Sancere from. We were so surprised and just looked at each other. No new/clean glass for the red wine. This hadn't happened to us in years. We won't be going back.

Located in historic downtown Fernandina Beach, Joe's 2nd St. Bistro serves innovative cuisine in a relaxed, island atmosphere. Enjoy fresh seafood specialties in a 1900's home, or outside in a New Orleans inspired Courtyard.
This was our first time eating at Joe's and it was wonderful. The food was delicious - Prime Rib, Shrimp & Grits and Cajun Carbonara. Our waiter, Brian was beyond amazing - full of enthusiasm and extremely knowledgeable about the food. We will be back on our next visit!

Stopped by here for lunch as we wandered around town, and it was the best decision! Friendly staff, ample options, clean dining facilities~ really great all around! We enjoyed a pastrami sandwich and the chicken salad with a side Greek Salad. All very tasty~ saw several court and police personnel eating here as well-- so if the locals eat here, you know you're in good hands!

Met at David's Restaurant with "Concours d'Elegance friends last week for another extraordinary dinner this year at this extraordinary eatery! The SEAFOOD PAPPARDELLE PASTA was generous with seafood in a really delicious creamy sauce, absolutely Divine; guys said their STEAKS were perfect. Our innkeepers at the Williams House told us about the ALASKAN KING CRAB on the menu (straight from the Bering Sea aboard the Deadliest Catch boat!) -- their detailed description of the size and sweet succulence of the crab meat had our mouths watering - maybe take on next year! The staff was professional, attentive, efficient & pleasant. It was fun to look around and see some famous car celebrities! We look forward to David's every year and highly recommend it.
