The twelve tables are always packed because this place serves the best burgers at reasonable prices. The green chili is to die for, as are the red chili fries with cheese and green chilies. Beer is cheap and no one ever complains about the ribeyes. Easy quick stop if you’re driving down I 40 just a couple blocks down on Grand.

We tried Tyler’s and absolutely loved it. We had the #1 chopped brisket sandwich and also the rib plate. Both the cole slaw and potato salad are good. Tyler was actually at the cash register, the staff is all very kind. We learned that the lunch rush starts at 12:15 so come early. Would definitely come back here again!!!

A great find for us traveling Route 40! Cool place with very tasty pizza. Nice beer selection. The pizza was so good we made a point to stop on our return drive through Amarillo!!

I was looking for some comfort food and found this place fitting the bill. Great price for large quantity of food. The small Ceviche tostada was huge with plenty of fish and shrimp on it, almost to big of an appetizer considering the very large smothered burrito dinner I got. Stuffed with spicy ground beef and refried beans and smothered with chili con carne and queso. Definitely go with the charro beans which came as I like it with plenty of diced jalapeños, tomatoes, onions and cilantro.

My family and I ate here on New Year's Eve 2018. I had not visited the restaurant for about two years. The service was friendly but very unprofessional. The server interrupted us multiple occasions and even tried to join in the conversation. Very annoying. The...MoreThanks for the positive feedback. The pancakes at this restaurant were wonderful. They were kind to let me order off the kids menu since I was hungry, but didn't want too much food. The service was excellent. If you're in Amarillo, give this place a try.

We drive through Amarillo on our way to colorado several times a year and IF it's not Sunday (its closed) We stop and get their steak sandwiches. We eat one there and get enough for all to go. Never eaten a burger as we crave the steak sandwiches. They have grilled onions and jalapenos as toppers...the peppers are too hot for me so I get just o ions with extra onions. They have great fries as well. You have to try this place!

Had lunch recently - shared fajita dinner with my Mom. YUM!!!!! So much food and wonderful service. It was busy, but our server checked on us often and attended to our requests well. Great family restaurant. We've eaten at some other restaurants in Amarillo that allow smoking in their bars - they don't have a smoke free ordinance yet. :(
Thank you Plaza for great food, service and taking a stand and being Smoke Free, whether Amarillo requires it or not!!!

So my business partner and I stopped here about an hour from closing. The staffs greeting and service was terrific. Everything looked yummy but instead of a heavy steak I ordered the Vacaro tacos and was happily satisfied. Salads and sides were just as spot on. The restaurant was clean and on our way out every server and busser thanked us for visiting. The manager even stopped by in a sincerely concerned approach. We’ll definitely be back!

Spicy Mike's is the best BBQ in Amarillo. I've tried all the top-rated restaurants here, and this one is the most consistent in terms of quality and atmosphere. Mike gets just the right amount of smoke into the meat, and his sides, particularly his "Mike-a-rony" a mac-n-cheese dish with Hatch green Chile, are excellent.
He has daily specials, and I highly recommend the smoked meatloaf. His stuffed baked potato is also a must-have.
