I was impressed with Ken and Dale's. Not only was the food quite good, the servers were stretched to the limit the day we were there. The town was filled with at least 8000 extra people waiting to see the Eclipse. This restaurant never let down its standards, the servers maintained an equanimity that was beyond reproach. They remained friendly and helpful even while they raced around trying to get tables cleared so they could seat yet more people who were waiting. We had the burgers & pulled pork, both yummy. They'd also been recommended by the locals, so you know it's a great place to eat.

I ate my evening meal at this dairy queen and ordered the special of the day and a chocolate malt. The special on this Monday was a double cheeseburger. Then, you have numerous condiments to put on the burger. Actually, it was quite tasty. I was a little surprised about how good it tasted. It didn't seem like fast food because it took a little while for the cook to fix this burger, so it was hot, right off the grill. Not bad at all for a Dairy Queen burger. Others seemed to agree because this DQ was quite busy.

Just stopping for an overnight stay at a local hotel. the restaurant was recommended.
Seated Immediately. good furnishings. Solid Service. Very Friendly Waitress.
We both ordered Pizza and Salads. The salads were excellent and the pizza, one of their Combo's, with extra sauce, easily ranked in the top 3% of pizza's served anywhere. Highly recommended.
Great Experience.

We were driving through Nebraska on the way to Mt. Rushmore, trying to stay off the interstate highways, and came upon Newberrys in Alliance. They are a coffee house and sandwich shop. We stopped for lunch and had homemade chicken salad sandwiches and desserts. The food was good and satisfying.
I'm glad I had read the reviews and decided to try this restaurant when we were in Alliance. Wonderful fresh food. Creative. Healthy. Great atmosphere and service. Highest recommendations, especially for the salmon sandwich wrap and the chicken/avocado sandwich!

We stopped for a quick lunch while passing through Alliance. The grilled parmesan flatbread was very good; plenty of chicken and parm. The onion straws were fine. Noah's platter of eggs, bacon and sourdough toast was also very good; perfectly prepared. Santa Fe wrap was ok, but wish they offered more dressings than just avocado ranch. Very good service and reasonable prices. Big servings. Clean atmosphere. We'd eat there again if passing through.

This family owned restaurant offered a delightful meal. The prices are very reasonable, and the service was terrific. I opted for takeout, but that didn't mean that they weren't excellent – at least four of the staff members acknowledged me, smiled at me, or said hello to me. The food I ordered was delicious and filling. The guacamole was particular terrific.

We have a Zesto in our area so we were excited to find one here when passing through on vacation. We ordered for lunch. We found the food ok, it was not very hot when we got the food. Our biggest disappointment was that it took very long to get our order when we were the only one there. We would probably try again, but only if we have enough time to wait.

They made a menu "change" without changing it on the menu or informing us of the change. Due to this change my son and I didn't eat dinner. No refund or discount offered. I would have been happy if they would have just gave us what we ordered. The waiter and the owner just argued with my husband. Will not be going back again.

I like to try local restaurants when traveling. This particular one was a treat. The waiter we had was excellent. He was very helpful and made a few suggestions that we found very helpful.. The food was traditional Mexican and was exactly what I was hoping for. I had enchiladas and tacos, my wife had chimichangas and my Vegetarian son had a couple items from their vegetarian section of the menu. The food was very good, I really enjoyed the re-fried beans. If you are in Alliance, Nebraska and looking for something special. Give Mi Ranchito a try!

I went to Subway three times during my two-week stay in Alliance because I try to eat vegetarian, and Subway has all those veggies. I never had a sandwich there, but I enjoyed two wraps and one personal pizza. The cost of a wrap is the same as that of a six-inch sub sandwich. I wasn't even thinking about having a wrap, but both the wrap and the pizza were advertised with posters on the windows. I think other Subway restaurants should push these more. Both of my wraps were veggies and very tasty, but you could have any meats on a wrap as well. The pizza included several tomatoes instead of sauce. I recommend trying these items at Subway, and I am a little amazed that more people don't order these.
