Home to America's favorite Chicago-style hot dogs, Italian beef, burgers, salads, and chocolate cake.
Ok first time here. I was not expecting a real diners look. Hard to decide what to eat it all sounds good so went with the Italian beef and fries. Good flavor on the beef had spicy peppers with it, the fries are the old fashion kind and nice and crispy. Overall was very good. I will go back

The sandwiches are asian-inspired and very good with fresh and unique ingredients. There are choices such as Vietnamese Ban Mi and Thai Chicken Satay. Sandwiches comes with chips and are a good size that are sure to satisfy. Overall a very good lunch option!

Christy's is an adorable local diner in Wood Dale. Upon entering, we were greeted by head of the restaurant, and a waitress immediately got us a table. She was very kind, helpful, and polite, as were the other waiters and waitresses, who made sure the coffe mugs were always full. I ordered a ham and American cheese omelet and pancakes on the side. The omelet was delicious, and not overly greasy. The pancakes were good too, and had there own sweet flavor I knew I could only taste in Christy's. My omelet came with hash browns, which were absolutely irresistible. The bathrooms were very clean and nice. All in all, I loved the homey diner feel of Christy's, and the amazing food. It was a bit difficult to get to the restaurant due to construction, but not overly difficult if you have a phone GPS. Christy's was a good start to the day!

We went to Tree Guys right before it was to close for the night. Didn't know if they served Brandy Alexander or Brandy Ice drinks, but got a real nice surprise. The bartender was kind enough to make us an absolutely great Brandy Ice big enough to share. Great service along with great food! Ya gotta try it, you'll like it!

We stopped at Portillo's Hot Dogs after spending some time at an orchid greenhouse in the area. This Portillo's is an outlying stand-alone building in a large strip mall, in the same strip mall as Safari Land. We ordered a dipped beef-n-cheddar croissant and a combo beef & char-grilled Italian sausage sandwich. The only thing that I wish is that they would just dip the beef-n-cheddar croissant instead of arguing with me about it. I know what happens when it is dipped, and I like that. I have no objection to washing my hands after I eat one. There is plenty of parking. The drive-thru doesn't seem as busy as some Portillo's, but maybe we were there at a slower time. The floor staff is friendly. The prices are reasonable.

We moved to Bensenville, just a few blocks from Mamma Maria's, and we went there recently. We'll definitely be going back. This is a classic Italian family-run place, not a chain. We got lasagna and eggplant parm and loved them both. The service is friendly and efficient but without making you feel rushed -- even though it was a Friday night.

Their wood fired pizzas are amazing! I have had almost all of the ones they offer and they are all great! Some of my favorites are the Buffalina as well as the simple sausage one. Always tasty.
Their presentation for the food is really nice as well.
Place is super family friendly.
My only suggestion is that everything would be even better if they had a bigger wine selection, which is also a great money maker for them.

Consistently poor service thru the drive thru. Takes 30 mins plus to get our food and the order is routinely incorrect if you customize the meal. They get your credit card right away so you can’t even cancel the order. Would avoid his location and visit another Portillos. Last visit the first manager blew us off before a second manager finally made sure we got our order.

De Campana is our go to sit down Mexican restaurant. Its small, personal with great service and delicious food. We're not crazy about the outdoor seating area as it is not closed off and really has no atmosphere so we seldom use it but the inside is very comfortable.

Pork shank is big portion. Dark polish beer is 8%. Décor is similar to that found in the back woods of the Tatra mountains shared by Slovakia. Giant white pine slabs cut on no longer found circular saws compose the table tops. Basswood floors. Heavy deer hoof-shaped potato dumplings with dill weed in the white mushroom sauce. Staff speaks Polish. So do most of the customers. Authentic, no matter what you choose. Fresh whole wheat with lard drippings to start. Quick trip to southern Poland if you need a nostalgia fix and have an appetite to match. Packed, but full of quiet conversations.
