My husband and I enjoyed a great meal here. We shared several small plates. All were fresh, flavorful and well presented. The filet mignon skewers, cilantro rice and beans and fried plaintains were our favorites, but all plates were so tasty with different delicous dipping sauces. We enjoyed a nice wine by the glass and desserts, too. The flan and tres leches cake were delightful. Latin cuisine is not something we typically explore, but we're so glad we did. Our server was amazing, friendly and so helpful guiding us through the meal. This place is located in a little strip mall, but once you're inside the decor and vibe are cool and fun. The food, service and value was awesome. Wish we lived closer. Don't miss out on this fantastic place!

Mina's is a family oriented restaurant where you come as a patron and leave as family. We have been serving the Hudson valley since 2007. Our cooks bring you meals that will remind you of home and "abuelas" touch. We specialize in Puerto Rican/Dominican a
The Minna's in Middletown just opened about two weeks ago and we wanted to review the restaurant as quickly possible. We wanted others to know about the Middletown Minna's. We have driven to Monroe and New Windsor to eat at Minna's many times. Now we have a Minna's in Middletown. We are happy. The new location is on Route 211 East at the Middletown City Town of Wallkill boundary. It is across from Popeye's. The restaurant is located on the corner of a building that has an Enterprise Rental. Minna's is very inviting. The front and side is all glass and sunny. The interior has muted colors and pastels. The decoration is minimal. There are about a dozen tables, a long high top near the bar, and the bar. There is an outdoor patio. For some reason, the space reminds us of a cantina. The food is just as good if not better than the other Minna's in New Windsor and Monroe. We started with a draft Modela and a Mango Madness. The bar has about four beers on tap and several bottled beers. Next, we had two empanadas. They were small but the prices is good. The empenadas were very good. We ordered pernil and mofongo for our entrees. Both were excellent. The pernil was moist and was served with rice and beans, Our other entree was shrimp mofongo. There were six fairly large shrimp. The mofongo was excellent. It was not dry as mofongo could get if cooked too long. The great part was that the mofong had a broth with garlic that enhanced the taste and prevented the mofongo from being dry. In addition, the entree also came with a container of red sauce that was extremely tasty. It was a superior meal. The entry to the strip mall is very tight and narrow. It is a one way with limited parking in front of the restaurant. Our suggestion is to enter the bank driveway, just after Minna's, and park in the lot in the rear of Minna's. There is plenty of parking in the rear.We are very pleased to have Minna's in Middletown and we will be regulars.
