Was walking past one day and saw this bar. It's just off the main road of Baarerstrasse. I'm so glad I found it. There were two hosts in there. Ladies by the name of Grace and Marie. They served with a smile and made such an effort to talk and great their guests. Was actually very nice to be treated like everyone was welcome there. It's a little smoking bar but it was not too bad as they have good ventilation systems in place. The service is fast and they even let you pick and play your own music. Will defiantly be going there again. Well worth my time. Especially with such lovely people. Also the bar has people of all ages so you do not feel like your to young or too old to be there. Food is also available and the two girls are such good fun.
THE bar for beer and sport lovers, night owls and those looking for a cosy place to enjoy some snacks and drinks. Here you will be able to enjoy rolling a quiet ball, play a game of darts or a match of tabletop football in a homely atmosphere. All day, we
In der ganzen Stadt der einzige Ort mit Billardtischen. Es hat immer einen freien Tisch, die Location ist im Fabrikstil und grossräumig, sehr grosse Bierauswahl und die Bedienung ist sympathisch.
This pop-up location opened a few month ago. The concept sounds interesting: collaboration with local farmers and producers, discount if you pre-order via their app, unconventional building at the railway stations, weekend events... Very unusual for sleepy Zug!Downside if the concept, they have only one dish + one salad / day. The dish is vegetarian / vegan and you can add meat. As we were there, unfortunately they had no vegan option (it would be great if the app would state vegetarian or vegan). We therefore had only the choice of a salad. Salad was small, consisted mainly of green leaves (with a tiny amount of vegetables), is served with a small bread and did cost 13.80CHF. Overpriced. You get better salad from Karma a few step from there for less money. 32CHF for 2 small green salads and one water is definitely to much money. We like the concept and will give PuurPuur a second chance â hoping they work a bit on their offering.

Love this place. Little bit of the UK. Sticky tables and dirty toilets. The people make it but DJ Filou rocks the house. Good bit of cheese (can always do with more). He is worth his weight in salt. Play the requests. If you want a good night head here after a few beers. If you want him for private work.. DJ Filou 079 356 14 88enjoy...........

We pass this café quite often and really like the ambiance in the evening but we finally went there today for lunch. Being a small café you don't expect anything very sophisticated but I would have liked a little bit more choice! My husband took the menu with soup (which I didn't think was made from scratch, I would really say that it came from a packet) and the pasta with muschrooms and ham. He was happy enough with his choice. I had the cordon bleu with salad. It was ok as well and unfortunately I forgot to look into the note pad where, according to another reviewer, one can note what one wants in the salad. The young lady could have pointed it out.... To be honest I didn't look at the note pad! One thing I didn't like, I asked for tap water as I know that many restaurants just serve you tap water in a mineral water bottle but the young lady brought mineral water in a glass, which we had to pay. I wasn't happy about that but then.... as I ordered in English maybe she didn't understand what I meant! They don't like serving tap water here in Zug but then... usually my husband drinks a glass of beer and a glass of wine or half a bottle of wine so what is the problem if I don't want mineral water? It has nothing to do with the money but I never drink mineral water and I really think that they serve you tap water so why should I pay for it? Very annoying! We are people who eat out quite a lot but I appreciate a good service, if not I don't return to a restaurant, no matter how good the food was! That said.... we might just try it in the evening because of the very interesting ambiance!Dear Francisca,Thank you very much for your rating. After taking over the Plaza in August we are in the process of repositioning and redesigning the venue. This will also affect Service and choice of products. Anyhow I promise you we do not use any packet soups and we avoid convenience food wherever possible. I am happy to hear that you like the ambiance and hope to serve you again soon.Michael
As one of the oldest bars in the old town of Zug, the Fischerstube offers a unique atmosphere with a fantastic view on the lake. During the day, you can enjoy finest coffee from our La Cimbali. In the evening, we are happy to serve you local Baarer Bier,

This wine restaurant is a must when in Zug. It is trendy, has nice ambiance and good service. My friends love the tartar, I prefer the cheese platter or the cold cuts platter. Chris, the owner has always the perfect suggestion of a wine I have to taste, each time I go.

It's a small bar on the top of I guess the tables building in Zug, 17th floor. Excellent view on the "small town" of zug, the lake, and the mountains further back. With all the lights and people speaking English, you forget that you are in a village of 25,000, where 40% of the population live on farming, but you look at the office buildings where all the banks, private equity firms, hedge funds, international HQs, etc. are based, and for a moment it feels cosmopolitan and cool. Ah yes, staff and drinks are of course good too, but they are not the main reason to visit the place.Dear guest,Thank you very much for your feedback. We are very glad that you have enjoyed your time in the Skylounge and are looking forward to welcoming you soon again.Best regards,Skylounge Team
