Located in downtown Yangon retro bar is one of the main bars to hang around serving 24 /7. we do good cocktails, good food, good beer and good service for the best rate in Yangon.
My friend recommended we go here because of the trip advisor rating. The food was ok but it took ages to come. That was the only positive part really. The location was very awkward. In he trucking district. The owners are Sri Lankan and thatâs a nice change because the variety of food in Yangon isnât as it would be in other metro cities. As soon as I walked in ho it felt awkward. The decor was splashed together with no real atmosphere. Awkward lighting. Cheap prints, awkward curtains, random umbrellas and statues, weirdly spaces tables. Just didnât have any ambiance. The staff was nice but it took them ages to understand our order using both English and Burmese. Painful to say the least. I ordered a bottle of beer that took ages to come. Itâs a bottle. I think they had to brew it. Then food took forever to come. They were very nice so the owner brought us a homemade desert âthat tasted like eggs smellâ according to my friend. I will not come back but I think this place could be done ok.

As a legendary institution in Yangon, 50th Street offers a one of a kind atmosphere where you can eat, drink & banter the night away! Just off Merchant Street in the center of downtown Botahtaung Township, 50th Street welcomes you in for a refreshing drin
POSITIVESthis is a good looking bar with friendly welcoming staff, serving decent food although a little exy price wise, for Myanmar that is & the portions are on the small side. NEGATIVESThe bar allows smoking throughout the entire area so it's very difficult to breath clean air & it certainly spoils the dining experience here. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad if just the upstairs area was a smoking area but sadly not & after being in the bar for just over 2 hours last night I woke with a terrible headache, a really sore throat, a raspy voice & coughing up lumps of green phlegm due to all the cigarette smoke not to mention my clothes now reek of stale cigarettes! Now I can understand maybe Burmese people are not as aware of no smoking policies in restaurants & bars but from what I saw it was mainly western tourists last night who certainly would be aware that it's just not pleasant / acceptable to smoke in a restaurant next to people eating. So why is it suddenly acceptable when they are in a restaurant in Myanmar? It beats me!Burmese food options are distinctly lacking on their menu, it's very much western food.We were told by the bar staff that all cocktails, spirits & beer were half price until 8pm due to "HAPPY HOUR" but when we paid we were told the Gin & Tonics we'd had were not included in "HAPPY HOUR" not great as this meant our bill was a little over 75,000 KYT. I wouldn't have minded so much if the staff hadn't said all cocktails, spirits & beers were included in "HAPPY HOUR."

Vibrant & casual new Pub Grill Restaurant in the heart of Golden Valley. An emphasis on excellent food, our menu has flavours of the Mediterranean, along with craft pizzas and excellent wine & cocktails. Dine in our restaurant, enjoy a drink at the bar, o
A cosmopolitan casual vibe and perfect blend of locals and expats. Like 50th street but more tasteful and intimate with its 4 sections for all tastes, blassic pub beats, and great selection of drinks and all levels of food (including mind blowing smoky babaghanoush and a fine pizza oven and a lot more). Great to see some Lebanese food back in town as well after that whole Inya Lake expulsion tragedy 7 years ago from their schmuck manager. This place has learned every lesson and become the best for any weary worldy fella looking to feeling instantly at home yet still far away enough for spontaneity. Bravo - and Jayzuba et merci for your pinache and presence here. May you never fade, because we need you as you are.

Gallery Bar & Restaurant is a great place to unwind and grab a bite at the end of the day. Stop by for Happy Hour any night to enjoy the full service bar. Our range of imported beers goes well with the tempting menu of steak, pasta, tapas, burgers and sna
Even though the food and drinks here are much more expensive than other places in Myanmar, itâs in a luxury hotel so thatâs to be expected. The burger plus a drink deal coupled with two-for-one HH meant that a very tasty burger and three pints of beer ended up costing me only $18! Service is exceptionally good too, decor is tasteful plus they show sport on a huge screen throughout the day.
