The food here is very good. I have been several times and havent had a meal I didn't like yet. The best dish I've had would have to be the pork tacos. With that being said, I wish the menu had a little more selection in the way of sandwiches/tacos.The craft beer selection on draft is also very good. They have selections that they are always switching out which makes it a desirable place to return to if you enjoy a variety of craft beer.Thanks for the 4 stars and the feedback Daniel!

You guys have to go check out Halligan's new Irish restaurant/bar. They've moved one super conveniently close to Wrightsville Beach and Mayfaire. Side note: you don't have to actually get on the beach to go there, which is awesome traffic-wise. Cody, our server, was hands down the perfect bartender / server for our late lunch. The place is beautiful hardwood and has outside seating for you sun worshipers. I highly recommend the Reuben with a side of sweet potato fries. Probably the best of both I have ever had. Also, the Guinness flows and is super affordable. 4 bucks for a pint of Guinness and I will return. Give me great scenery and service, and I might never leave... Lol All joking aside, this place is definitely on the new rotation for my wife and I. P.S. I didn't try the beef on weck, but it looked like pure awesomeness, as two guys at the end if the bar devoured them.

Took the family (3 and 6 year old) here based on ratings online and proximity to our hotel- not disappointed! The food was delicious! We had the stuffed flounder and the chicken pot pie! The kids enjoyed the Mac n cheese and chicken tenders! Our server Nate was on top of our every need and concern! We are on the deck outside and it was clean, not buggy and very peaceful with the kids! We donât get to Wilmington very much, but weâll be sure to visit next time weâre in town.

Needed a casual place to eat after sunset watching down on the beach. All other restaurants were closing so gave this little spot a try and were pleasantly surprised. Great selection of drinks being a bar, but also generously sized appetizers that our table was able to share. Had the nachos and quesadillas and the quality was great, even though it was 10 pm on a weeknight. Would go back for pizza too. Ordered a slice of cheese pizza and it came out hot and crispy from the oven. Outdoor seating available.

Watermans Brewing Co. is a nice relatively new addition to Wrightsville Beach. We found the atmosphere terrific,an attractive bar and decor, nice outside seating area, very good beers,nice menu and a great waitress. The $7 flight of 5 beers started with names like Beach Bunny,U 352,Just Camping and Tropic Fire that had a unique spicy fire and slight pineapple taste. The grouper fingers were cooked perfectly and had a lemon sauce, while my wife liked her garden chicken salad with the berry beer vinaigrette. The Key Lime pie was very good with a nice high meringue and surprisingly only $4.20. Our waitress, Courtney was excellent on a busy Friday night, and I'm sure we will be back the next time we are in town.

The crowd is very eclectic, which is something I enjoy. Not too much of one type of crowd and they had live music one of the nights. I went alone, sat at the bar and didn't feel uncomfortable. Definitely somewhere I'd go back when I'm in town to have a few drinks.

We enjoyed lunch here. The restaurant is light and airy with ocean views. I had the crab cake sandwich with French fries. My husband had a shrimp quesadilla and fruit. Both dishes were very good and we shared a death by chocolate cake for dessert. Our waitress was attentive and the service was quick. This is a very good restaurant. A pleasant surprise in our resort!

Friendly service and good food. The seafood boil for one was just right. Generous portions, especially salads and sandwiches. The quantity of menu items is limited after Hurricane Florence but the quality is excellent. Different drink specials each day. Excellent Bloody Mary for Sunday special.Thank you for your review. Sitting outside on the patio, next to the attractive brick wall on a nice summer's evening at Poe's, is the way to go. The Coranado Orange Wit and the Old Tuffy drafts were ice cold and the Shrimp salad and the Pit and the Pendulem burger were very good. This burger had the addition of bacon and cheddar cheese and the potato salad was about as good as I have had. They were red potatoes in large chunks with a limited amount of mayonaise. The bacon blue cole slaw was also pretty good and our waitress was just right. Poe's has a nice upbeat casual atmosphere.
