I used to come here in the seventies, when the original owner was here, Helmut, after whom the place is still named. I never forgot his steaks with garlic butter. Now there is a new owner as of 22 years ago, and he is great. Wonderful service and my meal was out of this world! Fast. Great price, awesome place like your old times German pubs. You come I and it's like you're part of the family. They know ahead of time who is coming and what they'll eat. Awesome!

Wenn wir einmal ein besonderes Vergnügen geniessen möchten, gehen wir ins Restaurant Kniep.die Speisekarte ist ausreichend groÃ. oder anders ausgedrückt: Sie ist nichts für Menschen, die die Qualität an der Masse der angeboten Gerichte festmachen. Für jeden Geschmack dürfte etwas dabei sein. Serviert wird immer ein Gruà aus der Küche. Ein optisches und geschmackliches Erlebnis ist die servierte Hauptspeise.Nachtisch haben wir noch nie bestellt, da wir nach dem Hauptgericht immer schon satt sind.Das Preisniveau ist leicht über dem Durchschnitt der Hückeswagener Gastronomie, aber auch berechtigt.

Eine Restaurant weit im Lindlarer Hinterland neben einem Campingplatz - das soll was sein? Diese Frage stellten wir uns zu beginn der Wanderung dorthin und wurden äuÃerst positiv überrascht:Gute und leckere Portionen, Jäger und Zigeunerschnitzel satt, das gerupfte Filet bestand aus 4 leckeren Medaillons mit Tomate und Creme Fraiche überbacken, und die Currywurst bekommt 5 Sterne!

The venue is located in Bickenbach, a part of Engelskirchen and is located in a lovely hilly part of the âBergisches Landâ. The restaurant is part of a bigger installation with big rooms for parties or events. The place is a former cloth factory and the factory look was well preserved but brought to modern standards. The menu is big enough with a choice of burger, steaks and pasta. They have Sky and two big screens where we watched the European handball championship. The food and drinks were OK.The service is very kind.
