Came for dinner here while at a conference in Lancaster and really liked the food. The server and host were energetic and friendly. They have TVs going but it is not too loud.My husband had the seafood alfredo and he ate the whole thing. I had fish and chips which was great. Very reasonable good food. My only regret is that we did not get here for breakfast.

My husband and I ate here for dinner tonight. We had heard good things and decided to give it a try. Here are our thoughts:FOOD: The food was very well prepared and ample. I had half of pork ribs. Between the meat, the fries and the baked beans it was plenty. The ribs had a good and high quality of meat on the bone. I was pleased. My husband had The Local (pulled pork with sausage and coleslaw). Though it was on the spicier side, it was very tasty. BEER: The beer in themselves were good. However, as other mentioned, many of the IPA's and others had citrus added to them. The first one, good! By the time we got to our second and third choices, the citrus flavor was getting old. They need some variation, not only within their IPA's, but in their general beer selection in general. There was no "middle of the road beer". You either had the lighter IPA's or the heavier stouts. Atmosphere: The building used to be used for drying tobacco. It's high ceilings, dark wood and open feeling is both roomy and comfortable. During warmer months, you can sit outside on their patio, though you're overlooking the parking lot. They could and should really try to make it tie in better to the rest of the facility.Service: This is where our experience lost points. Our waitperson was not the friendliest, nor was she on the ball as much as she should. We were kept waiting between drinks. The place was not that busy so there was no excuse.Overall, we'd go back for the food, but wouldn't go out of our way to visit for the beer. Hopefully, should we visit again, we'd get another waitstaff person as well.Parking: There's a large parking lot with plenty of spaces.

Miserable hot day, but good for an air conditioned drive to ,,,somewhere. Well, we drove past this interesting looking place and the name got our attention for sure. Good beers, terrific food, instant friends, good value. Just plain fun, and made for a great afternoon. Early dinner for us.

Oldest continuously running restaurant in Lancaster City!!
The Food is cleverly inspired and delicious. Wonderfully creative. In a terrific atmosphere- I love the stable. Keep in mind they do not take reservations- so plan ahead. Wonderful Jazz ?? in a stable that is creative. I have had my knees replaced so I would inform that there are stairs involved here, but it was worth my climb for sure. Now the second most interesting part after the food, the value for what we received was amazing. So let me wrap this up- Great Food, great atmosphere, great music, great service, great value, stairs, parking can be difficult, yup, works for me. You should give this a try.

If you order nothing else, order the meatball appetizer! Itâs a great space with easy accessibility. The bar is large and the restaurant has two floors with an elevator. The Salmon was done perfectly. The butternut Squash purée was amazing and the Brussels sprouts fantastic. Our server Matt took great care of us and was a great communicator. Tastes the Margherita pizza and it wasnât my thing. Tried the butternut Squash MAC N cheese was dry for me but a hardy sized dish. Give it a try!

We just moved to Lancaster and are scoping out various restaurants. Friends recommended this place. Although we arrived on a busy Saturday evening, we were seated in 15 minutes. We found a nice range of ages among the customers and the decor was very pleasing. The decibel level was high but it is a bar and it has a tin ceiling so that is expected. The menu is fantastic. Being a non meat eater, I am often disappointed at pubs but this one has plenty of veggie and vegan options that were VERY appealing and not just a unexciting option for an occasional non meat eater.I tried the nona spritzer, which was a delicious drink for a warm night. The crab melt with cole slaw on the side was very tasty and reasonably priced. My companions were equally happy with their choices. This place is on my list for many return visits.

Weâve been by many times and it has had good reviews online so we decided to give it at try for dinner after looking at the menu online. After getting seated, our drinks, ordering, and the actual food took forever. No one seemed to be in a hurry to offer service other than the hostess who checked in several times and even got our drink order. When our food did arrive, my bangers and mash barely had any potatoes...I didnât care as much as I could/should have as I was starving at that point, On top of that, some college kids came in and were yelling next to us. I realize itâs a pub on Saturday night, but it didnât seem to be a college bar where all the constant yelling would be ok. It took 2 hours from the time we were seated until we were eating, and not because we spent time just chatting it up. This place has a lot of potential to be a cozy, enjoy-yourself pub, but there are a few things that need taken care of.

Visited this Saturday around Noon, quickly seated in a booth, our food choice was the sirloin tips sandwich (steak was tender) and very tasty, as was the fish tacos. For bears we tried the Lancaster lager (nice light beer) and the amber lager, which had more punch. Overall very impressed with the quality of the food and good beer choice, next time will try a beer sampler.

It's a beautiful space, inside and out, upstairs and street level. It serves delicious food, from regular menu and with specials. Its cocktails are creative, not overly fussy, and just scrumptious. It hosts a live Irish seisun monthly, on Sunday afternoon, and the staff is friendly, helpful, and speedy, all the time.
