Brought a grabone voucher for dine in Pizza here. I didn't get the name od the lovely girl that served us, but she was excellent, making sure everyone was ok and the meal was good. The pizza was excellent, couldn't believe we were the only one dining here on a Saturday night.

Big food alot of deep fried stuff but salads and meats as well. We both had Scallops in batter served with chips and salad. The scallops were huge and very tender. A good selection of draught and bottled beer. Not gourment food but well cooked and presented. One thing to know is that you order food at the food counter and they given you an electronic disk which buzzes and flashes when your food is ready to collect. Also, have to buy your drinks at the bar separately to the food.

As a group of 6 travelling from Rotorua to Whangarei on motorbikes we were looking forward to a decent meal. we were not told when we walked in that there was a wait of over 1.5 hours, we sat & had drinks & after asking how long till our meals would be up, we were told they hadn't even started cooking them. in the mean time the guys working the bar & taking food out to customers were eating peoples food, we all saw 1 in particular take chips out of the bowl & dip it into the sauce & eat it before taking it to the customers waiting. we got our money back & went to the roast house which was amazing! Not a good look at all, no recommendation :-(

We found this pub after walking around town looking for a restaurant that was open on a Monday Night. the staff were friendly and the menu was extensive. Our meals were tasty and plentiful. The fish was cooked to perfection and my husbands steak was also cooked to his liking. Its great pub fare and a typical pub.

A right nice lunch stop. A warm welcome on arrival, good choice of lunch dishes from the traditional to more adventurous, excellent food and well presented. Toilets immaculate. Thoroughly recommended. Background music a tad loud but not enough to knock a star off for! So five stars, it is!
