I have dined here several times during visits to this eclectic little upstate NY town and have always had a good meal. I have enjoyed on multiple occasions the butternut squash ravioli in brown butter sauce while my husband has tried the extra-fresh + crispy fish + chips and the NY Strip... all meals were served by friendly and attentive staff. We especially enjoy dining on the outdoor veranda during warmer months.

Winton's 1898 Tavern is totally remodeled and under new management and open to the public for business. Overlooking the 18th hole with the Adirondack high peaks as a backdrop, this new club bar and restaurant provides an easy going atmosphere and wide variety of meal options that perfectly compliment this historic (1898) country club. The staff was friendly, accommodating, eager to please, and the new menu simply outstanding. Thoroughly impressed with entire experience. Perfect spot for family lunch or dinner outings.

Went south instead of north on a Friday after work and selected Antidote this time (instead of Park Squeeze). Menu choices are a bit more varied and flavor profiles a bit more complex. Welcomed promptly, seating preferences accommodated, and experienced wait staff attended to our beverage requests and ordering. Chef accommodated vegetarian preferences. Has both restaurant and pub seating.
