We were there on a Friday night and it was busy. Or waitress seemed confused. She came back to or table after taking our order as if she had forgotten that she already took it, then remembered, then verified our order. Two people other than her brought our food. She did not come back to check on us. We had to ask someone else to get her for drink refills. Then again to find her to get our bill. She blamed not waiting on tables for a while.

It happens that we had stopped recently at the new Red Robin in Wausau, only to be disappointed because their ventilation system failed, causing the restaurant to close. We asked the bartender there where we could go in town for a good burger and she recommended B & R on the corner of Bridge and 6th. She said do not be scared by the appearance, trust me. Wow was she right. We were served fantastic burgers made with fresh beef bought locally. The french fries were fresh, HAND CUT fries done to perfection. This place is worth a stop.

We had the perch and haddock. The beer batter was light and crispy. The fish was moist and tasty. I really liked the German potato salad I ordered. Our meal was reasonably priced, and our old-fashions were only $3.50 each. We got there just after 4:00 on a Friday and by the time we left at 5:30, the place was getting quite busy. They have a large outdoor deck in back, but there is not a great view of the small river about 30 feet away.

Nice dinner on excellent patio right on the Wausau River Walk. Food was a little hit and miss. My Ruben was decent size, but a little plain. My wife had a very good cheeseburger. Same kind of mix with other friends meals. Very good beer menu. All in all service was pretty good. Waitstaff was friendly, but did made some mistakes on the bills, which they quickly cleared up. They also had no problem letting us sit and talk after we were all done with dinner, not a hint of trying to rush us out.The patio sits right next to the River Walk path. It is very large, with a number of tables and a sitting area by a gas fire feature. The River is not particularly scenic at this point, but the overall experience is really pleasant. Inside the restaurant is a different experience. The dinning area if what you would expect in a large bar, but be warned there are a number of very loud arcade games near the front entrance. NOTHING wrong with this, and a great draw for kids, but it does make the bar noisier. Again, itâs part of the experience, and completely fine, but if you think your going to come for a quiet drink or dinner you will not be happy. We will certainly come back.

We stopped here when we were exploring Wausau's downtown area. It is situated very nicely in the busy and vibrant downtown area. It would be perfectly suited for dining when the downtown concerts are held. We requested outdoor seating on the day we were there. It is a perfect place to people watch. The food is well done. Everything we had was very good. We ordered a Turkey Club sandwich with potato salad and an Philly Cheesesteak with fries. Top notch offerings down to the fries. The drinks too were very good. Atmosphere and service again well above average. Atmosphere actually would get a 5 star rating from us. It is well done inside and dining on the sidewalk in this beautiful downtown setting is enjoyable. The young lady serving us cared and it showed. She was attentive but not over bearing. We actually had another server engage us in conversation as well. Fun people to be around..Overall this is a solid dining establishment. It does everything well (food especially). We enjoyed our time here and can easily recommend a stop at this place.

At Milwaukee Burger Company we believe in quality first and foremost. We aren't your every day burger joint with frozen patties and frozen french fries. We bring in fresh certified hereford beef and hand patty it ourselves every day. We bring in the best
We have stopped here several times for both lunch and dinner. The cheese curd sampler tray is awesome and I highly recommend it. The burgers are huge and very tasty. We always have left overs to take home.Eric we're happy you enjoyed everything!

Great atmosphere! Came out to enjoy live music on a Friday night and loved how people were so into it â it made for a really fun vibe! We were greeted at our table in the bar area within a minute of sitting down; service was fast and friendly throughout. Just ordered fries and drinks and both were tasty. We are definitely planning to come back to eat a full meal and check out the patio.

The service is extremely friendly and helpful. The recommendations were spot on. Due to the proximity of the Marriott (next door) I dined here two days in a row. It was delicious both meals. Of course we sampled the cheese curds pursuant to Wisconsin law. I normally am a meat & spud guy but had a Cobb salad. It was good and huge. The following day I had a garbage burger---not the name (it had everything on it) and it was very good. Good experience all the way around.
