Kona Brewing Company is located in a shopping center in the Hawaii Kai area. We went here for lunch after visiting nearby Hanauma Bay. The restaurant is right on a marina and offers excellent views of the water and the surrounding mountains. We sat inside but the restaurant is very open to take advantage of the Hawaiian climate. There is a kids menu which was helpful to our family. Service was very good and we enjoyed our lunch here.

This is a neighborhood pub, nothing special, great service, food is typical bar food. Salad was terrific.

Visited the wine bar for first - and last - time last week for lunch. Ordered a salad and after 30 minutes finally received it. And the place was not crowded. Staff appeared to be more interested in watching football on screens then serving customers. Food quality also not impressive.

Iâll be honest, I was looking for a place on the beach for our last dinner in Hawaii. Iâm a romantic sucker, so I wanted something where we could near the waves crashing while counting the stars and looking out over Hawaiiâs impossibly blue water. Instead, we found THIS place, and I was not happy. But then, we were seated, and our extremely kind and personable server handed us a beer list that read like literature and a menu that immediately set my mouth to watering. Soon, the commercial surroundings were a dim memory (we were in the middle of a large shopping district), and the fact that sand and surf were far away was forgiven as we ate and drank our fill, acclimating our appetites to the imagination of server and chef. We had such a good time here, and even though I was hoping for something different, Iâd waste no time in recommending this place to anyone in the Kailua area.
