Small room with a very special decor and a lot of details. Its location is unique, in the arcades in Piazza Umberto I, 34 in front of the majestic Castello Pirro del Balzo di Venosa (PZ). It proposes typical local products, handicraft breakfast croissants

This trip was with my husband, great friend that speaks Italian and my father to check out the towns his parents were from. A stop in this secret town of Maschito was an experience of a lifetime. We immediately met the nicest people. After a long day of travel from the coast we asked about dinner and were personally walked up to Club Da Micone. There we met the chef and owner (he speaks perfect English) and had the most wonderful meal. Musto Michele brought out different courses explaining not only the source of ingredients but each hand step to create the dish in front of us. We enjoyed the meal with his company and others from the town as well as the local wine. A stop in this town is a must if you are in the area. It just exudes the pride of the folks that live there. Let him know you came to visit and he will treat you with the upmost respect. We can't say enough about his talent as a chef and the love he puts into his preparation.
