Old school bar with new school food and space for a band with side rooms for darts and another for video games and skee ball . Food was better than expected. Atmosphere was little dark and smoking is allowed. Mix of hard rock and metal was a little too loud for me. I'm getting old I guess. Bartender was hustling and gave us menus. after ordering the cook came out and asked about some topping choices for the Tater Tots. This was unexpected and we were glad he came out. Overall place has good. Food was better and drink specials are best.

Hard to believe a chain restaurant can have such great wings but this place gets it right every time. The wings are meaty and cooked perfectly. Other things on the menu are very good too. Can't go wrong.

We like Applebee's and eat at one fairly often. We ordered the 2 for $25.00, which used to be 2 for $20.00, but I guess everything goes up. We both ordered the steak and mine was good but my husband was not totally satisfied with his. It was thicker and alittle tougher than mine. We were confused by the sides, which they have changed a while ago. You each get an entree, but one appetizer, plus 2 sides, example would be 2 salads or 2 potatoes etc. We both ordered the baked potato and 2 salads that cost extra. When we got our order we could have ordered one salad and 1 potato as our 2 sides because they were both very large and we could have shared. We will know better next time. The service was good, just alittle confusing.

Located on the hill in Valpo...lots of space and lots of outdoor space. Plenty of tvs to watch games on. A bit dirty in the bathrooms
Four fathers has the best beer in the area by far. The owners are great and always around. They don't have food but offer beer cheese made on site and popcorn. They often have a food trick on site also!

Our family is proud to make Lincoln Flats a beautiful addition to downtown Valparaiso. We look forward to providing innovative cuisine, impeccable service and top-notch wines, beers and spirits in a relaxed environment. We welcome everyone to "Eat. Drink.
Liked everything about the place except the noise level...very loud.Decor is beautiful. Out server was great...always around to explain or see if we needed anything. Food was very good. The place was crowded at 5:30 on Friday night...gotta love Valpo if you eat at 8:30.From what I could tell the place is always crowded...people like it.It seems to me that the new trend in Valparaiso is to offer quality at about $16-$20/dish. Coming from Chicago that seem fair but to some locals this is a lot.

We liked the pizza and special salad we got. Nice decor and friendly service. Monday night special, a small pizza 10" with 3 topping $5...A deal The smoking hits you in the face when you walk in. We have not been in a bar or restaurant in years that allows it. We sat in the non-smoking room which is far away from the entrance( you can enter here from the back of the building) but my wife said she could still smell it. She is sensitive to smells, I am not. Have to admit that even when I smoked I didn't want to eat in it.If you don't mind smoke, definitely go.We both liked the food a lot. We agreed we would get pizza to go from there.Note: children not allowed; because of smoking?

This is a microbrew in a yuppy town (block off main street/strip). Looks like was formerly a store front cuz of the large glass windows. They've at least 8-10 beers on top (that they make on premises) plus 1 or more local "guest" craft brew. They offer a large offering of wines (lots from Indianapolis, some from Cali) and ciders. They offer seasonal beer. In summer had a watermelon and now an Octoberfest one. The waitress was so attentive, informative and friendly! Was excited it was our first time and walked us thru everything. They have a page of apps, diff burgers, sandwiches of all types, some pasta entrees and at least 6 types of flatbreads. We had the mac and cheese cake ($7) for an app, small but tasty. Is a round cake and crusted on outside drizzled w/an aioli sauce. Hubby had the all American burger which had thick slice of ham on top of burger, cheese, lettuce, tomato, etc. $12 w/homemade chunky potato salad. I had the flatbread which had pork, ham, bacon, bleu cheese, mozzarella, sauce, etc. All food homemade and very tasty. Flatbread a bit pricey at $13 w/no side to accompany it. Have large bar and plenty of tables around the bar. They offer nachos, fried pickle pickles, spinach and artichoke dip and other apps. Everything was inviting looking and very tasty. We had the mini pretzels w/icing for dessert - $5. Those were prob my least fave (icing not that sweet and pretzels had beer/cheese taste? I'd def recommend coming here. It's prob hit or miss w/time. We got there Sat. night (Sweetest Day) about 5, and not crowded at all (seat yourself!), but getting more so later on. Had outdoor seating and even tho late Oct. still offered/available. Looked like they had arcade games. Didn't see any pub games like jenga, board games, like some other breweries offer. Def go try it!

Recommended by friends and I'm so glad we went. All 4 of us cant wait to come back. Excellent service, appetizers, meals. My husband is super picky and he never complained once. Miracles do happen. We've tried all the higher ranked restaurants and we weren't impressed. This restaurant should be #1.
