Things to do in Valley Park
A group of us regularly get together at Fandango's and always appreciate their welcoming and taking good care of us. This time Erin took very good care of us almost single handedly. Everyone moved around and she pretty much kept up with us too. Unfortunately, 1 of the food orders was dropped but they corrected it quickly. Generally, their food is pretty good. The place is pretty clean too.

Visited on trip to St. Louis to watch opening weekend of college fb. Place was very dark and had a dingy feel. Staff was nice but not very professional. Food was priced decent and the philly steak sandwich was OK. Place had a lot of tv's but most were timed to the Cardinals and not football.
This pub is located on Highway 141 just south of I-44 on the western perimeter of the St. Louis metro. The main claim to fame at Trueman's is their hamburger--1/2 pound of fresh meat, hand formed and cooked to order. We were a family group of seven, and everyone was pleased with lunch--four of us ordered hamburgers. The prices are very reasonable, and the service was outstanding.

I was referred here, somewhat reluctantly, because I wanted a lil sumpin to eat, but mostly sumpin to wash it down with. The place that I bounced from had a handful of tasty beers, but none to my liking, and no food whatsoever. Their only concern was that it was divey. It was not. Well lit (but not overly bright), full of families and couples, Blues fans starting to roll in for the evening game, and most importantly, nobody looked up when I walked in to see if it was time to start a fight. I would call it a family-oriented sports bar if anything. While I am not a fan of breaded onion rings, these were OK, and the gyro was tasty as well- not the thin slices from a true spit, but not the big chunks that are more like kebabs- a reasonable compromise. Other cheesy, saucy options were probably good, but after being on the road for the better part of a month, a boy can only eat so much.If I were in the area, I would come again.

This place is what it is, a bar and grill and not fine dining. That being said the sandwiches re pretty goo ad the bar has a good selection. I like their home made chips. I normally get the deluxe medallion sandwich and itâs always pretty good. When compared to other bar and grills I give it 4 stars.

Busy little place, but easy to get to. Wings are very good and the ranch dressing tastes homemade! They offer a good salad and geat fries. I'm not a beer drinker, but my son and husband are and they have a SERIOUSLY great offer on a pitcher off beer! We do eat there and/or order take out fairly often.

We went with a group of friends. Nice fun atmosphere, good service, good bar food. They do have specials during sports events. We will go back.

We joined another couple at their suggestion of TJ's for a Friday night out when the activity we had scheduled got canceled. We've liked their wings and dipping ranch dressing but been away 4 a while. On this night, they did not disappoint on that "front". However, they failed severely on several other "fronts", including finally delivering my deluxe small pizza after everyone else nearly finished their food, despite asking our less than capable waitress, Shay, were it was lost at. Her pat answer/apology was that they were "slugged back in the kitchen", despite our arriving and ordering well b4 the typical line forms at the door. Why people?Other issues included no beer list at the table and Shay did not know them. They are on a chalk board at entrance. AB brand bottle beers were $4.25 each (ouch) with drafts at $4.50. Had a few of these overpriced libations while waiting for my pizza. Coincidence??? Overhead heaters on their enclosed patio were 2 hot and made us uncomfortable to the point of cooking my scalp. They attempted to clear the table b4 we finished our meals. Shay breezed by our table without bringing us beers ordered up to 10 minutes b4. Patio is loud and tables/chairs packed in.My poor rating could honestly have been terrible. May I suggest people stand in line someplace that better deserves their hard earned money and patience. This place has lost step. Pass it by!

Lunch here was excellent. I liked that they offer some healthy choices like Teriyaki Chicken Bowls with Brown Rice or Cauliflower Rice, Salmon Bowls, etc. I had the Cobb Salad and it was filled with plenty of delicious ingredients and was large enough to consider it a meal. My husband had the Rib Special and a cup of chili, and he said it was delicioius. For dessert he had the carrot ice cream sandwich made with gluten free cookies and butter pecan ice cream. It was a great choice and a large enough serving to share. Our waitress, Kacie, did a wonderful job and kept our beverages filled and gave us excellent, quick service. It is rather noisy inside the restaurant, but I suppose that indicates there were a lot of happy customers enjoying themselves. We will definitely be back!
