I'm not really sure if I will call this place a Café or a Restaurant... Their name is Weinhaus Beck and Weinhaus means House of Wine. Yes, this is really a House of Wine... As soon as you get in the place, wines will be welcoming you in all direction. We came here to have breakfast. On each table, there's already a basket of different breads and a plate of colored hard boiled eggs. When we asked for a plate of cheese, the owner told us that we can go out and buy cheese at the market, bring it over and they will give us plates and knives... I think that is really cool... going to a restaurant and bringing your own food... I saw in other tables they have marmalades and some other stuff that they brought, too. Most of the customers are old, friendly Germans. It definitely is a place to be with the locals. Before we left, our friends picked several bottles. The owner told our friend that the one that she chose is very expensive and is not worth the price. He then recommended 2 bottles of wine that is much better in taste and in price... That's the kind of salesman we want - honest! We will definitely be coming back to this place!

Great pub to visit if you speak English and not fluent in German. Very friendly very talented and educated local people. You can also order food and they take care it is well presented. Nice place to hang about in the evenings.

Small menue, premium wines, fine beers Guest cook: Saer Thiam
We found this little place on our first evening in Tübingen. We sat in the little (five tables) garden and had the most amazing food. The menu is small and changes each week. The wine list is a little longer and such good value. The food is the freshest- we saw the cook cutting the herbs for one dish as she was preparing it, so we were certain things were cooked to order. Service is not the quickest but with food and company this good, that is as it should be. It was such a good meal/evening we went back on our second night in Tübingen as well. I wish we had anywhere this inventive and welcoming nearer to home. It is a little star In Tübingenâs culinary life.

The outside of this place is not the nicest, but once inside it is a great pub. Inside it is clean and great lighting making it warm and inviting.ServiceThe service was excelent, with the staff being friendly and professional. The seating was ample, and very comfortable. We never had to wait long to be served.BeerThe beer selection was ok, and they were able to provide some beers from smaller brewers instead of just from the lage institutional brewers.I would recommend stopping in and having a bite and a brew

So müssen Bürger einfach schmecken. Der Klassiker für einen schnellen Imbis zwischendurch. Die Sitzgelegenheiten im Imbis sind für den schnellen Snack ausreichend, sowohl innen wie aussen.
