Reviews on Pub food in Trondheim, Central Norway, Norway. Norway's capital of technology, the university town of Trondheim is a tech junkie's paradise and a history nerd's dream. The 11th-century Nidarosdomen Cathedral is the national sanctuary of Norway, and the Royal Residence is the largest wooden palace in Scandanavia. Fast-forward several centuries, and SINTEF science research center is doing some of the world's most important work in environmentally-friendly technologies. Nearby skiing is world-class, with World Cup winter sports competitions held regularly at Granåsen.

Two friends dropped in for a beer a late evening. Few people, so waitress came to table. Ordered two Norwegian pints - draft beer. They had several bottled beers. It's a place also possible to eat. Nice interior, a bit old fashioned style. It's in city centre, but a bit hidden - so a place to meet the locals.

On travel mission to Trondheim I felt for a burger and beer for dinner. Went for the traditional burger added with cheese and bacon. Tasty meat, good bacon and cheese. Fries well made too. A bit dark inside, but thatâs Irish style. Several draft beers available, order at counter and they serve you at table.

The oldest pub in Trondheim!
I spent a wonderful evening with the family at this great historic pub. The beer and whiskey selection was excellent - I highly recommend the saison. We had burgers and pizza that were quite tasty. The staff was friendly and the kids were welcomed until 10PM on a Friday night. A great place to grab a cold beer and a quick bite.

opposite the Jalaab Indian restaurant., This English Football Pub is the contact centre for all UK expats in Trondhjem. Run by Douggie.... Adrian Douglas. The nearest to an uk Public House for Miles and Miler.
The main interest of this pub is the possibility to watch many different sports and especially football. Most of the big matches are displayed and it is always crowded for big events like World Cup or Euro Cup with many foreigners who come to support their team. Nice ambiance. If you come early (before 19:00 I think) you can get some good deals for food.

I just went there to have drinks. From outside, it seems to be a small place but when you come in, you realise that this is a huge bar with many rooms and a lot of people. It is a lot of good (and expensive) beers and some options for food. Overall, it is quite a nice bar but nothing really special. It's OK but that's not one of the first bar I would recommend in Trondheim.Thank you for writing a review from your visit in ÃX Tap Room. Our focus is the brewery we have located in room, and our own ÃX beer. We also serve Italian food from Frati, the restaurant above. We are happy you wanted to visit ÃX, and wish you welcome back!

Web page seems to be offline, but restaurant is active.
Tasty vegan burger (you have to make sure to tell them you're vegan) in a chilled out restaurant. You can eat outside in the summer, the outside bit gets lots of sun which is awesome! or sit inside and play board games! Alternative vibes in the Svartlamon area of town.

Some friend recommended this place and i was sceptical after looking at the picture. Seemed more formal than it actually was. Good selection of beers, friendly staff and a nice location at Bakklandet where you almost have the feeling of being at the countryside almost.A recommended place for first time visiters in Trondheim.

I have been at this restaurant several times and I truly recommend it to everyone. The attention of the service members are amazing, they take your order fast and bring your reasonably priced delicious food quickly. Very hospitable environment. The menu offers a variety of dishes from meat based dishes, to various kinds of pizza and the soup of the day. If you are there for chill and relax, sit at the Gastropub department of Ladejarlen and taste local beers!
