The Hut Bar & Grill, John's Pass' premier waterfront Tiki Bar, features live music 7 days a week, Happy Hour Monday - Friday, 70ft Dock with a full panoramic view of John's Pass, and great vibes!
Seafood Fest brings additional food trucks and vendors to the area. Closing off the parking area for the Fest allow a large pedestrian mall. All of the establishments along John's Pass become a Bar Crawl with plastic cups some attendees can grab and go. We stopped a while at The Hut and enjoyed the live music, as well as, the view. Would love to visit again at a calmer time that is not Seafood Fest. The staff did a great job with the crowd. Kudos.

The new owner has changed the menu, so don't count on finding what you see on the online menu. I went for the liver & onions but they no longer provide it. I chose bangers and mash instead. The gravy was so hot it burned my tongue. The sausage casing was tough and burned on the ends. The stuffing was gritty and gristly. The mean started with a salad that was ripped lettuce in a small bowl topped with a dollop of dressing, one grape tomato cut into two halves and a sprinkling of sunflower seeds. The waiter was full of excuses. I won't be returning.Joy M,The Horse & Jockey is not under new ownership, it's been family owned for the past 11 years. The sausages are homemade and have natural casings, if you don't like them, there are plenty of places that will provide you with one of Jimmy Dean's finest. Not sure who the "mean" are but I'm glad you'll be dining elsewhere in future.

Only drawback is you need to pay for parking. Second floor level so need tp. Limb stair or take elevator

Stacy, my bartender, has given me the best service Iâve had yet on this beach. Not only is she super personable but she makes phenomenal drinks as well. After my friends and I received our drinks, the manager Monica approached us making sure our drinks and stay was as great as it should be. Later that day we revisited and had Taylor as our server. He was super fun, entertaining, and gave us great service.

Located in world famous John's Pass the Bamboo is one of the sun coasts oldest bars formerly known as the "Bamboo Beer Garden". Recently renovated it now boasts a tasty menu ranging from favorites such as fish tacos, smoked fish spread to burgers & philly
Stopped off here for a drink while visiting Johns Pass. It was fab!!! Great drinks - wine, beer & smoothies for the big kids. Bought the toddler some dinner and it was HUGE for $5.99!! Really good value. Live music made it fun too! Would definitely return on our next visit.

Second time I've been there; both experiences were great. Lots of yummy choices on the menu at very reasonable prices. Fun atmosphere - local feel, fun staff, TVs, indoor and outdoor seating. The only thing that bothers me a bit is that the outdoor smokers' cig smoke blows inside if the wind happens to be from the north. But I'll definitely go again!

Our local friends took us here because it was open late. They'd never heard of it. The staff was really nice and the food was great. And inexpensive. The scallops were cooked perfectly and were under $10. The seared tuna!We came here twice during our trip. The burger is good. My fish sandwich was ridiculously huge and delicious. Our waitress had been working there for 6 years and loved the place. We'll be back.

We stopped by for late meal. Got seated right away. Good beer menu. First, I had a Drunken Kiwi Hazy IPA and later had a Fresh Squeezed Grapefuit Pale Ale. My wife had a Wasa Watermelon Sangria-- she loved it. For dinner, I had blackened grouper with rice and beans; my wife had fish tacos. Great meal!Steve,Thanks for stopping by and taking the time to leave us a review! We truly have the freshest grouper around as we bring it in whole and fresh from right here in Johns Pass at Dons Dock!-Tyson

Went with friends and decided to sit outdoors on the deck seeing it was a cool night. Friendly waitress however she didnât quite know proper pricing on the menu. Had to question her about some charges. She said she was mistaken about our side dishes coming with our order. Was even changed by a side of bbq sauce. Anyhow, taste of food was good. We had gator bites which were tender and not gamey or tough. No complaints about taste of main dishes (burger, shrimp skewers, lobster po boy). Portion of side dishes could have been bigger considering we were changed.

My wife and I and another couple stopped in R Bar for Breakfast on a Friday morning. The server was very attentive and the food was very good. The portion size was no overdone which is probably why the prices were very reasonable. I am planning on returning for lunch or dinner and would definitely go back for breakfast.
