We are a beach side motel with 16 rooms and a bar. Our motel is central to shopping, dining and the beach. Our bar is friendly and warm with live music through Summer and we have a pool table. We are basic 3 star accommodation in a 5 star location and the
Staff accommodating. Food terrible. Garlic bread burnt, vegetables that were served I wouldn't serve to my dog. Food was sent back and returned with OK vegetables. For the price very ordinary. Condiments were dirty and looked like never cleaned

Harding's Lounge is the place for a light breakfast or tasty lunch, , such as the Torquay Tasting Plate of manzanillo olives, cured meats, seafood croquette, Zeally Bay sourdough and dips. For those with a sweet tooth there are many sweet treats to choose
Both the food and the service were ok.Service was okFood was neither bad nor good, I guess unremarkable would be the word.Definitely will not go back, especially since the much better venue is literally a table away.Moroccan chicken burger was ok.Wine selection is so so.

We came here on Easter Saturday night for dinner. They were very busy but all the staff seem friendly and the food service was prompt. We were all happy with our meals and the available wines. For the price and the quality of the food I would probably pick this as a must do for dinner in Torquay. So far I have found this Bistro to be the best priced, with just as good food as the restaurants and good service.

Booked a table for 9 people 6.00pm. Arrived to be told no booking, had booked the night before! Yes people make mistakes but the guy we dealt with was sarcastic, dismissive and sent us on our way with a âhave a great night â! As a local I will never support this place or Roku Den as I dropped into the see the chef who owns both restaurants and he was equally dismissive. Will not visit either of these restaurants again and will tell anyone who asks my advice the same. Hi Lulucole,We understand your frustration with that evening as it was a mistake on our part. Our staff had placed the booking on a different night and we apologised as best we could. As that moment, all we could offer were our tables in the laneway under the heaters, as nothing else was available. Unfortunately that wasn't an option that would suit your party and we regrettably couldn't accommodate you better. I'm sorry you felt my staff and I myself were dismissive. I couldn't offer a better solution other than what the staff suggested and being at a different location at the time made it difficult. Our sincerest apology.

Relax after your round of golf, set of tennis or gym session and make Whiteâs Paddock the place to unwind. With a menu ranging from salads and sandwiches to seafood and grills. Whiteâs Paddock is a fun, relaxed venue to catch up with friends where you can
Second visit and a cheaper option at RACV Resort. The food is excellent and the chicken parmigiana was again a "big" hit. The pork cutlet went down nicely too. Unfortunately only open Friday and Saturday nights.

Went there with 3 mated, to check out there beer and food.We started out with there beer taster. Good way to find out what you prefer in taste. We ordered a whole stack of different food, including a pizza, to go with our beer. Both the food ( other than the pizza, not big portions) and beer were very good.If you love your beer, a good place to visit if you are in the area.

On a recent visit to Torquay we decided to grab a quick drink and snack at Growlers on the Torquay foreshore. This fantastically located restaurant needs a major shake up - food and drink service.Selecting off the snack menu at $12 per item we ordered ; dips, Arancini balls and chips. The dips arrived and appeared to be thrown together. Tasteless beetroot dip and some other dip that was flavourless. A bread roll cut up was the dips compliment. The food was terrible.Supermarket dips would have been better.Drinks were quite expensive. As we left we heard another table complaining about their fish meal - appeared to be calamari that looked like boxed supermarket crumbed.Over all a terrible experience and embarrassing for our Torquay host who was apologising Give it a miss.
