The smaller half of Trinidad and Tobago, the 116-square mile island is a top eco-tourism destination. Its rainforest has been protected since 1776. Kayak through mangrove swamps, mountain bike testing trails in the island's northeast, drift dive with manta rays and sharks, hike the Rainforest Reserve or take in the distinctive Tobago pursuits of goat and crab racing. Cars, taxis and "maxi taxi" minibuses make it easy to get around the island. Carnival sees this exuberant island at its most extroverted.

Go for the food, stay for the relaxing atmosphere...so happy to see this location sport a better restaurant! New owners working hard on revamping the kitchen and facilities of a spot that has been less than âso soâ for a long time. Service is a bit inconsistent but the views are spectacular! Perfect for sundowners!Always fun to chat with the owners Richard and Cindy Lee! Good luck to you guys! Keep up the good work!

Very good service and very tasteful food, absolutely love the quesadillas!!! Great place to go for lunch or have an afterwork drink/-dinner with friends or night out with your husband. You can play pool or table hockey (I think thats how its called) or just watch sports on TV

Happened upon this place whilst walking about looking for somewhere to eat. The place was empty, but the menu looked interesting.Glad we decided to take a chance, since the food was delicious, well presented and reasonably priced. The waiter/bar man, while not rude, is definitely not the best person for the job since he mumbled a lot and never looked us in the eye, while speaking to us. I was disappointed by the length of the wait we had especially since we were the only diners

I was in Tobago with a business associate for a day trip last Saturday. We mulled over our dinner options and then decided to walk back to Drunken Joe's. Well we were in for a surprising treat. When we ordered our burgers we expected the worst but it came out in fewer than 10 minutes. It was a perfect medium burger. I am pretty certain the patty was about 12oz. It was a very clean environment too.

Anchor Bar and Grill is located on one of the popular beaches in Tobago. The soft sand between your toes, the magical sunsets, turquoise water, refreshing cocktails and mouth watering food are only a few of the ingredients offered, to make your time here
This is âDeath in Paradiseâ without the death. The bar is on the beach with the restaurant alongside. There are no frills, tablecloths, etc., but the experience is quite memorable. All meals are cooked to order by Mama, and she produces some lovely dishes to try in the open sided area which is under cover. If you go to Tobago you must call in here.

Their burgers are VERY good and cooked to order. Cocktails are reasonably priced, but beware when asking for water. They bring you bottled water and charge you for it. Really good service and an enjoyable deck to eat.Note: As with ALL restaurants in Tobago, a 10% service charge is automatically added.

I enjoyed the atmosphere and my meal.We were at an outside garden seating and I was being attacked by insects and the owner was kind enough to provide insect repellent. Did not deter me at all.Not a rushed atmosphere, just cool vibes. Good meal and we had local beer.Free dessert from the chef who came and check on us. My son who is 6 really enjoyed his meal and the big sofa type chair in lounge area of the restaurant.I liked the ambiance, cool breeze and music and also the smile from the owner Everytime she came to our table. The price of our meal was comparable to that in the US.

Bar-Club hybrid ..... Unique as the island itself. Fantastic Food. The right MIX....Drinks.Music.People
Located on the Scarborough waterfront, you could hardly ask for a better location, while enjoying a beverage from their vast array of premium drinks. Now let's talk about the food, on an everyday basis, there's a made to order beef burger that is absolutely tops on taste, with optional toppings like bacon and fresh pineapple slices! Can't figure out the secret, but each burger, somehow tastes better then the last. There's also ribeye steak, fresh fish of the season, and shrimp, nicely grilled with a nice selection of sides, like fires, wedges, or Alicia's special pasta salad. On Friday's they roll out a special Friday luncheon, with very well prepared Creole dishes that's always very tasty!!thanks so much for the great review !!! we are happy to bring service and a consistent standard to all our customers!!! see ya soon

First the view from the restaurant is wonderful Situated in its own bay one looks out to Little Tobago and Goat Island. Birds are a well-known feature of this area The chef is excellent and makes sure to talk to the guests so that one has the best experience. Lunch and dinner menus are different. Fish is the freshest (tuna, grouper etc) and we witnessed the daily catch being delivered to the restaurant. Lobster is available in season with a choice of various sauces and cooking methods. There are daily specials. Meat is also good. Vegetables are well cooked Breakfast is good. Yoghurt is home-made and comes with honey if one wishes. Fruit is plentiful. Bagels, croissants etc. are available. Hot food choices are very good with the breakfast sandwich (egg, cheese, bacon or sausage on toast) a standout for me. A couple of older kittens ingratiate themselves with charm. I hope that these are neutered and stay to act as rodent control.

We found Honeys on Trip Advisor, and although it is a bit off the beaten tourist track, it is well worth finding! The owners, Cyrus and Nancy, are very friendly and welcoming, and the food is excellent - as well as being the most reasonably priced restaurant that we visited on Tobago. As well as the regular menu, they also offer a range of 'platters' which are big enough for 2 people, and having tried the Pork Platter on our first visit, we can confirm that they certainly are! We enjoyed Honeys so much that we returned for a second visit and tried the shrimp in creamy garlic sauce and the pork ribs - again, both were excellent.Nancy also makes a very fine rum punch amongst a splendid range of cocktails!Recommended..Thank you Pepper [and Mark] for your review. We were very happy to have you at Honeys. As for the pricing we try very hard to keep prices reasonable while at the same time maintain a high quality product. Hope to see you on your next visit to Tobago.
