A friend told me about Tapphoria, so decided to try it. It's in a small strip mall adjacent to Highway 99 at the west end of Tigard. Seating is minimal--a few tables only, but kind of cozy. They fill growlers, offer a few sandwiches/panini, and a selection of craft beers from Oregon, Washington, California, Idaho, Vermont, & Pennsylvania. Service is friendly. 2 or 3 TVs were tuned to sports, but muted for us non-sports diners. It has a laid-back vibe--a pleasant place for a beer and light lunch. Prices are reasonable. We're glad to stopped by.

What a nice surprise a nice breakfast stop, only on Saturday and Sunday, they open at 9am. Really has the feel of an Irish pub, really cute. Honors the potato, and has real Bangers or British Cumberland Sausage. Kind of Fusion between Irish and Mexican food. For Breakfast is omelets, corned Beef, burritos, enchildas. with a variety of meats, toast. Good job cooking eggs. Nice list of bottle beer or draft beer. A proper bar for mixed drinks. Wonderful service.

Good location near several hotels. We were warmly greeted & seated promptly. Relaxed atmosphere. Good variety of food items on the menu as well as good choices for happy hour. Had the shrimp Won Ton stir-fry and the grilled chicken & shrimp and both were very good. Our server, Madison, was very personable and checked on us regularly and refilled our drinks without our asking. Very good experience.

This was our 3rd visit and like the others, enjoyed it. We stopped by for a mid-week late lunch and the place was pretty quiet--just a small handful of customers. Our orders of chicken cheesecake and club sandwiches were huge and reasonably priced for value received. They were tasty, too. We went with the vanilla porter and IPA and skipped the flight because we knew what we wanted. Outdoor seating is available, although I'm unsure if that's true for winter weather, too. We'll be back.

Went for weekday lunch about 1:00 pm - adequate parking (behind the restaurant). We were seated promptly with a welcoming attitude. Server was present promptly - very pleasant. Menu for lunch had a number of different sandwiches and salads. We each had a different sandwich. Known for locally-produced, organic menu - the reuben and special burger were both excellent, as were the fries. Would definitely go again.

We sat in the outside garden area and it was lovely! You can always rely on the food being very good at a McMenaman's place -- it's the different ambiances that really set them apart. Although this isn't a historical building according to our server, it looks vintage and is located in a somewhat industrial area.

Thirsty Lion is an entirely new pub experience. We offer a wide range of menu options, exceptional service and great music.
Enjoyed lunch here today with a friend. I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich and a side salad. Tasty bread and delicious sandwich. My salad was fresh with balsamic dressing that had a nice âkickâ to it too. Took some time to walk around as we left. Big screens for sports, lots of space to gather and clean WC.
