Good service in pleasant surroundings. Had Sunday Roast which was delicious. Beef was too well done for my liking but wasnât a problem as within a minute or two the Manager came back out with a plate of rare , just as I like it. Lovely to read your comments about your experience, I'll make sure to pass them on to the rest of the team.

Visited here with family for a Sunday lunch catch up. We were quickly shown to our reserved table by a very friendly and helpful member of staff. I chose to have the 2 course Sunday lunch. Our order was swiftly taken. I picked roast Turkey which was served with mashed and roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding and 3 different veg. For desert I chose cheesecake which was light and creamy. Good food and value for money. Serving staff are excellent

This is obviously a very popular venue. We went at 2:00pm midweek and it was crowded with diners so much so that we had to search for a table.The staff here are very friendly, helpful and attentive, be they bar staff or waitresses.This is not a restaurant serving Fine Dining or Cordon Blue, but a pub serving pub grub. Once you realise that you will appreciate and enjoy your meals. Our group ordered the Pork Belly and Chorizo, Steak and Ale Pies, and Posh Fish and Chips. All of the meals were very tasty and good value for the money.We would not hesitate to eat here again next time we are in the area.....

Called in to see friends and ended up staying all day. Great atmosphere and very reasonable priced drinks. Fantastic for watching sports with quality screens everywhere. Got peckish so ordered a burger it came quickly and tasted great all the food going out looked really nice. This is a charming pub/restaurant on the edge of Poulton with plenty of parking and a cosy interior however it is let down by the poor quality food on offer and the service. We ordered the Sunday roast of beef which was served with one Yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes and vegetables and a small pot / dish of gravy. The food was barely warm, the veg were hard and dried out and the beef was dry. We also ordered turkey which came with the same beef flavoured gravy.
