Restaurant was busy and we had to wait awhile for someone to come to the counter when we first arrived. However they made us welcome and we were soon seated. A mushroom omelette for me and lamb shank for my wife. Meals were generous, well presented and perfectly cooked. We would certainly be happy to eat here again.

Wood Fired pizza and bistro style meals with stunning ocean views. Coffee and fully licensed bar
The pizza is superb, the view is amazing, especially at sunset, the service is excellent. We loved it so much we went two nights in a row!If you're not sure what an authentic napoli pizza is, best you check before you go so you don't embarrass yourself complaining about precisely what makes it superb.

This is the perfect place to stop when you are doing the Forgotten World Highway roadtrip, the capital of the Republic of Whangamomona. Nothing much, just a hotel with a few store and the President Park. Like the humour of the people here. Interesting historical exhibit in hotel, paid $2 for the passport stamp.

Had lunch here on queens birthday . Had the pizza and pork belly burger. The survive was good and friendly and prices seemed reasonable but then the food came out the pizza was extremely soggy , I couldnât actually pick up a piece without all the topping falling of and its was so greasy I couldnât actually finish it and thatâs very rare for me and the bun the burger was on felt pretty stale , flavours were good but the bun majorly let it down Hi,We are very sorry to hear that the food wasn't up to our normal high standards. Please accept our apologies. We take all feedback seriously and will pass yours onto the kitchen staff.Kind regardsThe Good Home Team

A New Plymouth institution. Centreal CBD loaction serving good honest food and cold craft beer.
Auckland prices for average meal. Sorry chef but you can't cook a RARE steak to save your life. Sent my well done over cooked expensive fillet steak back to the kitchen while watching others at my table eat as I went hungry and nibbled on over priced fries and a ridiculous pea dish!! At these prices you'd think you could do much better. Service and wait staff lovely though... at least that's something.

At Shining Peak Brewing, you can try our range of beers straight from the tap, brewed onsite by Head Brewer - Jesse Sigurdsson. Enjoy them with food from our eatery, prepared by award winning Head Chef - Freddie Ponder.
We visited on a Thursday night, and struggled to get a table without a booking. The pork was excellent, and others enjoyed the lamb. The portions were modest, and sides were important (two between four guests worked). The beer tasting paddle was good.Service was friendly and competent.G'day Peggs, I'm as happy as a clam that we could fit you in and that you enjoyed our fine fare! There truly is nothing better than a tasting paddle on thirsty Thursday, you're on to something there.See you again soon for a brew,Jesse - Head Brewer#DrinkBeerDoGood

This place has a bar and a dining area and is pretty popular. The food was above average and there was plenty of it. The staff were on the ball and the service was good. It isn't fine dining but it is a very good feed.
