Things to do in Swords
Had a great evening at the Chalk Venue enjoying live music in a venue that was ideally designed for purpose. No long waiting at the bar which is open late, ideal soakage food and great views of the stage and access to the dance floor from all parts of the venue. The upstairs covered smoking area also doubles as a perfect âchill zoneâ if you need a break from the live music. Only area of improvement would be the toilets which are a wee (pardon the pun) bit small.Strongly recommend as a great night out with friends... check out the website for details of live music of all sorts on Friday and Saturday nights.
Graingers The Manor Inn is a Family Friendly and Local Pub/Bar and Restaurant. We serve Full Carvery all week including weekends. We have a full Breakfast, Lunch and evening A La Carte Menus! We also have an extensive Drinks Menu.
Visited the Manor Inn on a week end, the carpark was busy as there was football matches being played across the road and also, the lounge was pretty well booked up for Communion parties. On arrival the staff were friendly and attentive. The pints were good, a nice Guinness! There was a big screen in one side and smaller TVs around the lounge and bar.It was a good place to watch the match.Locals in the bar were friendly and were having good craic. The food we got was good and not overall priced. Good burger, tasty, well cooked and presented.Would go back again.
Regular visitor from UK to friends in Applewood Village. The pub is the centre of everything here, entertainment, food and a lively crowd. Always worth a visit. The food is very good to for a pub.

Loads of natural character, ambiance and vitality here! But to see this premises at its most magical, a nocturnal visit is obligatory when the old heritage pub is buzzing with activity, pulsating with atmosphere and reverberating to the sounds of laughter
This is a real pub, not a plastic fantasy, so worth a try. There is a good selection of draft beers on offer, and the food I had was home cooked and not microwave stuff. The value is good for what you get, not Michelin star food, but for the price what do you expect. A good option to the theme bars you will find in the city!

I usually go with my family for a weekend lunch and, occasionally, for evening drinks with friends. The food is good, well presented and decently priced. A good service has been the pillar of a live and friendly atmosphere. Most customers are locals. It is a great place to meet friends and neighbors.

Hogs & Heifers is a rustically refined steakhouse concept born out of the meat packers district in New York, priding itself on locally sourced quality dry aged cuts of meat up to 30oz, sharing meat planks and suckling hog on a spit. All to be enjoyed wit
Just a few minutes walk from our hotel very good American style diner,Great food, not fast food and a few beers,Excellent service,Would return.

This is my favourite pub/eatery in Dublin and never fails to satisfy. Always busy but have never had to wait more than 10 minutes or so for a table. There are televisions all over the place, so you can watch the match without breaking your neck or being unattentive to your dining partner. Good menu choices to cater for all tastes. I'm a carnivore and this is meat heaven. The waiting-on staff are always full-on attentive and super chatty. They've now got to expecting a tube of starbursts, pack of skittles or some such as a cheeky little tip along with the gratuity. Gets us all sorts of cheek and banter and guarantees us a welcome next time.
