Really great place- food was great and couldnât fault it but the cold and unwelcoming reception put me of a bit... I didnât get her name, but every time she came near us, she rolled her eyes or cut us off mid sentence/ tutting and huffing.. other than that- would visit another Original Joes else where!We are sorry to hear about the unfriendly service during your recent visit. I stopped in for dinner on a recommendation from a colleague as I was in town for business and was pleasantly surprised. At first I wasn't sure as I was the youngest person in the restaurant by 30 years but the food was fantastic and so was the service. The portion size was probably too big but the food was so good! I had the chance to talk to the manager while I was paying my bill and mentioned the recommendation and I would recommend you go stop here as it was a great experience!

We had an alright dinner out with friends. We hadn't been in a while and always remembered the steak being fantastic and drinks good too. Not really the case this time. My steak came over cooked and tough. The couple with us... got the steaks mixed up on the plates perhaps as one was over and one was under. The sides were very good and plentiful! The fish & chips was great! Ask for a martini... a dirty gin martini. It came with lemon peel- - - NO olives or olive juice as they were out. Last time I went for drinks ( a couple weeks ago) they couldn't make one as they were out of olives. The beer on tap wasn't very cold and the pepsi (no coke) was flat. The server had a real hard time getting our checks right. Took her 3 tries and it was still all mixed up. The restaurant/bar was very quiet- so not really an excuse.
