What a gem!!! Wasn't planning on visiting this place. Was recommended by another establishment after they had finished serving food.Wow! Great location, plenty of parking, very friendly staff. The choice of food is fantastic, plenty to choose from and so tasty. Fresh, home cooked food. Superb value for money. Would definitely recommend and will be going back. Good idea to book as gets busy.

Tuesday evening visit for an early meal with family members. Food was adequate - nothing special. However, it was reasonably priced, Staff were friendly. Limited choice of keg beer. You get the impression this place runs on a budget. We were given a list of what was not available on the menu before making choices. Seems like the local social hub though. There was a bowls match on and they were also running a music quiz later that night.

I called in for the second time ever and once again struck by how clean this place it is the cleanest pub I know. Run by mother and daughter its spotless. Regulars keep coming back for the food which also looked pretty good. The local voting took place in a back room a week or so ago. This place really does deserve to be busier . I will definitely return.

A lovely, cosy Sunday afternoon spent here. Friendly welcoming staff... clean... It's a proper pub... remember them??Food was hot, cooked well, plenty of it... very reasonable price... most enjoyable...Good selection of puddings..Will definitely be going back.

I went to Oliver's for the first time for Lunch with a couple of friends. The staff where very friendly & welcoming. The food was excellent, 2 of us had freshly cooked cod in light crispy batter, peas & hand cut chips. Our other friend had the pie which she said was equally as good. It was 2 for £10 & drinks £2 we couldn't believe the excellent value for money for the quality of the food. Unfortunately we didn't have time to try homemade deserts which sounded tempting, next time we will.

Booked for sunday lunch, which was delicious... I hd the beef dinner and Claire th pork.. both dinners was plentiful and excellent... Served hot... Washed down with a great bottle of red wine..... The service as always, was superb. Great staff here.....We followed on witht he Rod Stewart tribute, which was brilliant... An excellent afternoon , brilliant....

My daughter and myself went for a three course meal today with cocktails. The service we received and the quality of the food was second to none. The cocktails were lovely as were the desserts. A surprise birthday dinner was arranged for me by my partner. Ten of us sat down to a lovely meal. We all ordered different meals. They all came out together, all were hot and well presented. Extra vegetables, potatoes, chips and salad were brought out too.The staff were excellent... friendly and attentive. We all enjoyed very tasty meals.Thank you to the Carnarvon staff for my lovely birthday dinner ( and my partner of course)
