Horrible service was an understatement. The place wasn't even busy, and the bartender couldn't handle the 5 people sitting at the bar. Waited awhile to be acknowledged, then finally got a beer. Wings were mediocre, entree was not even fully cooked, with no flavor. I wasn't expecting anything fabulous - I was expecting standard "bar food". But this place was just beyond bad. Bad food, bad service, I will not be coming back here ever again.

Village Tavern & Grill, established in 1993 is a Schaumburg local favorite and home of the "World Famous" Chicken Fingers and Nachorama. Featured on WGN's "Chicago's Best TV" as viewers choice.
The wife and I have been here many, many times and the food here has always been excellent. The problem with this location is the noise level. Being sensitive to noise, it is not a good fit for this location. This has caused us to slow down on our visits here. The food is great as well and the service. Just the noise is hard to sit through. We have found that going here off peak times of the day is certainly a help.

Some friends treated us for dinner as a late Christmas gift and it was great ! They recommended the brisket nachos as an appetizer and they were dynamite.....We loved them.....I had the broasted chicken and my husband had the NY Strip Steak...nice portions..excellent service (Thanks Michelle) This is a small restaurant, so I was thinking on a Saturday night they would be jammed, but they weren't...There's a TV, but it's not intrusive.....This restaurant is in a strip mall, so there's plenty of parking....service is good, prices are competitive.....I'd go back any time.....

Food was average but over priced. During lunch some kind of insect bit me up and left welts that are still very itchy even several days later. I have no idea what it was and I don't want to assume the worst case scenario. Won't be returning there.Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We will look into the issue. Please email us directly at kevin@thelucky monk.com should anything further come to light. Thank you. The Lucky Monk Management Team

We are taking a yoga class with friends in Bartlett and have been looking for healthy food and open until 10 pm. I never thought a pub would fit the bill. They let us do substitutions, food is delicious, restaurant is clean and cozy, and a good beer selection. We will be back!

Sit back and enjoy top-notch beer, catch the game on one of our 14 televisions, or grab a scrumptious bite to eat. An award winning restaurant for ribs and burgers, we always have daily specials for lunch and dinner. Our mouth-watering burgers are made fr
We spent one night in Hoffman estates just outside of Chicago, so with this place just across the street we decided to try it out. The service was awesome, the place was cute and the food was decent. First we started with the mozzarella triangles, which were fried to perfection. The marinara sauce with it could use some more flavor, but the triangles were so good the sauce wasn't even necessary. We then got our burgers. First both burgers were cooked perfectly & were juicy and flavorful. The toppings on the mac n cheese burger was not good at all, it was just boxed with a slice of cheese over it. My daughter decided to just take it off, it was better that way. Mine was the BBQ burger which didn't have hardly any BBQ on it at all, so that was disappointing, but what was on it was tasty. The fries and tater tots we really good and we got full, so I would go here again, but try something else.
