This restaurant has been open and closed several times in the past years. It's open again and this time I think it maybe here to stay. The place is always busy especially on the weekend where they have live music on the back patio. AND the food is very good. Six in our party and all but one, me, ordered prime rib. I asked for a steak sandwich and while it wasn't on the menu, they gladly prepared one. All the meals were prepared perfectly, served hot and the meat tender. I had French fries and they were the best I have had, crispy with no grease. The prime rib dinners came with 2 sides and standard salads and baked potatoes were ordered. All very good.

NEW LOCATION!!! WOOT WOOT! This place is a great local staple. They took over the old Georgioâs Building and expanded the menu. Interior is hip and fun, more seating indoor and outdoor. Same great Beers with a food addition. New Appetizers Added, Tacos, Pizza. My Friend and I split the ground beef tacoâs, they were good but could use some more seasoning. We also Split the Buffalo Cauliflower which was good, plenty to share for 4 people as it is rich and we couldnât even finish it. Beer as always was outstanding. A cute little must stop place int he area.

The village of Zoar is a pretty unique place - this pub absolutely fits perfectly here. The folks owning and operating the restaurant / bar are extremely friendly and helpful n directing our attention at various menu options. I had the grouper dinner - blackened and it was fantastic. They did have a locally brewed beer on tap Lockport Gateway which wasn't that great. But no problem because they have many alternatives other than this local beer. The prices for the food are very reasonable!
The prices were reasonable. Pretty much what you would pay anywhere. The food was tasty.I had Philly steak and cheese. Handcuffs fries, were limp. The atmosphere was bar for sure. Our service was non existent and the place was not packed. One person had to go get her own water refill. No one came back till check time. I always leave 20%tip but not this time.
I came in the last minute for the happy hour and tried their home-made lasagna, which comes with carrots, the first time I saw that.It was very tasty and the place was nice.We don't even have to leave the hotel to go there, as it is located behind the Ramada.

We learned about this restaurant by recommendation on a football forum. So glad we did! The food and service were outstanding! The prices were just short of being too high, but the portions were generous and the place was clean.I had a pulled pork platter and my husband had the combination (pork and beef) platter. We both had mac and cheese and baked beans with our meat. My husband ordered wings too. Everything was very tasty, cooked well, and served with a smile. The only weird thing was the shower curtain, barely any privacy bathroom. Regardless, we would definitely return again!

We had read and heard so much about Malcuitâs Tavern and were excited to go for dinner. I thought it was going to be a home town restaurant with great food. We went there tonight and it was awful! The hostess was very nice and sat us quickly. Our waitress didnât even tell us her name. She had short blonde hair and had it pulled back. She had zero personality. I told my husband it was like we were on speed dining. I donât think she could have rushed her tables any faster. I noticed all if her tables were rushed. We told the waitress this was our first visit, she said nothing. We ordered filets. I like mine medium rare , more in the rare. My husband ordered his more on the medium. She told us we needed to have them both cooked the same way. Which was not correct. We switched and tried to make them work. But they were both so greasy. They must put butter on the silver plate. It leaves a film in your mouth. The baked potato was cold and not cooked. The waitress never asked us how anything was or if we needed anything. We shared a piece of cheesecake and she took the plate before we were finished. We were literally in and out of the restaurant in 40 minutes. Speed dining at itâs worst. Save yourself the trouble and donât go. We are foodies and had been looking forward to going to Malcuitâs. It is extremely overrated! The food is awful and the service was worse.
