We've eaten at Bentley's several times, and while I've always thought their food was good, their service is just flat-out bad. In our most recent dinner, we were greeted by a hostess who was clearly upset that a party of six showed up without a reservation... even though we showed up before the main dinner hour and the restaurant was mostly empty. Not very welcoming. Then she couldn't quite figure out how to put two tables together to seat us. A waitress took our drink order ... and we didn't see her again for 10 minutes. After we ordered food, nothing came out for 45 minutes, and then on 4 meals came out. The remaining two came out 5 minutes later. All we ordered we burgers and tacos! Apparently there must have been understaffing in the kitchen. I'd recommend ordering appetizers, because Bentley's gives you no bread or rolls, unlike nearly every other restaurant in America. It's a shame good food is marred by such a lack of decent service. Whoever runs the kitchen tries hard (though they're glacially slow back there), but whoever runs the front of the house doesn't have a clue how to run a restaurant. I hate to say it, but go to a chain restaurant instead; the food will be worse, but you'll get it before you starve.

The Hidden Still is Connecticut's first restaurant and moonshine bar, featuring a unique and delicious menu and the area's largest selection of moonshine brands! Our menu consists of pub favorites and unique recipes prepared and presented in an upscale fa
We came for a late lunch. The restaurant has an outdoor patio, a bar and a dining room. The menu has some unique items as well as wings and burgers. On this Saturday we were greeted as we entered and invited to sit any where. Moderately busy, we had to wait a bit for menus and it took forever for my wine to be servedApparently we all came at the same time and the owner called and the sweet waitress was very sorry. Our sandwich was delicious with good and hot fries.Priced a bit high one would expect more attentive service. Also, dirty sidewalk and trash bin outside. Tables are cleaned but not the floor. We hope things improve so they will remain in business as it fits as niche in Ellington

Craft Beer, craft liquor, craft food. A great place to come with friends and family to grab your favorite cold creek beer or other local craft beer. Not a beer fan? Not a problem we have wine and a craft liquor line along with the spirits you have known f
This is a donât miss people. The staff was welcoming , the beer was excellent, and food was great with the pallet with what I was eating. Pub fare , fast moving beer variety, entertainment some nights. If you like there beer you can head up the road to there brewery to purchase to bring home. This will be a place I will come often.

We visited with our son. This place is a classic restaurant and bar. The atmosphere was pleasant and genuine. We ordered honey BBQ wings, brisket sandwich, the Cuban sandwich, and the open faced steak sandwich. Everything was fantastic - served hot and fresh. This is a true classic restaurant and a must for locals and visitors alike. The side order of red cabbage was good but needed sweetness to make it great.
We had lunch at the Somers Grill & Tap Room today and were pleasantly surprised. We lived in Somers for many years and this location was a less than savory bar while we lived nearby but a recent reincarnation into the Somers Grill & Tap Room has brought a nice, new choice of restaurants in town. We both had salads that were very tasty and huge. The BLT Caesar Salad and the Chef Salad were both very delicious and well presented. There was also a good selection of beers on tap. The service was good and the restaurant was clean and inviting. We stopped in for lunch on the recommendation of a family member who still lives in Somers. We'll definitely go back again.Happy to hear you enjoyed your experience with us. Hope to see again real soon. Thank you for your business and kind words, Somers Grill and Tap Room
Decided to try the new Copperhouse Tavern in Somers, CT after work. A pleasant surprise. I had the Clam Chower as an appetizer and the flavor was unexpected and delicious. Fresh clams and lots of them. It could have been warmer but the night was a very warm summer night and soup was not a likely order. The special burger of the night was the blue cheese burger with French fried unions and fries. Presentation was excellent and the taste was surprisingly good. Even the fies were fresh and tasty. No room for desert but on next visit we would like to check it out. We will return for a repeat visit. Worth a visit.

We had never been here but saw it advertised on TV and decided to try it. We had salads and a small pizza. The salads were very fresh and tasty. The pizza was bigger than we expected for a small but it was rather on the greasy side. The inside of the restaurant is not much to look at.

The beer was good, good selection. The food was good, the meat lovers pizza was very good. The service all around us was very good, we heard other servers talking about specials, returning to tables to check on the guests, etc.; sadly, our waitress was not that attentive. Just a quick intro, what can I get you, and that was all. This waitress has saved me a money, we will not be going back.

Went to Sonny's on Columbus Day and had a terrific time! It wasn't our first visit and it didn't disappoint! The place goes all out decorating for Halloween and the amusements are really fun. Our six year old granddaughter's go-to attraction is Playland, but she is also a huge fan of the carousel, Monkey Motion (on which she did her first back flip), and the go carts - in spite of the fact that she can't drive them yet! We even enjoyed some time in the arcade and some fries in the restaurant before calling it a day. Great way to spend an afternoon!
