I have been here before and have sat at the bar but this time I sat in dining room with friends for lunch. I ordered soup and salad. Our meals were brought out and the waitress asked if we needed anything else and I said I ordered soup and didn't get it. She apologized and said she would bring it and take it off the bill. The soup and salad we're delicious. We all had separate checks and when my bill came it had another person's drink on my bill. It was fixed and then my soup was on the bill. This service was out of norm and I will be back

Just opened to the public on December 14, 2011. Located in the historic Hotel in the historical disrict encompassing The Historic Houses of Odessa. Holiday atmosphere is festive for the whole town.
In the last 2-3 years we've tried Cantwell 8 times. The first time was for lunch. We both got burgers. They were decent, though nothing special. Same with the service. I would have rated it a 3...average.About 6 months later, we went there for dinner for our anniversary (approx. 2.5 years ago). The food and service was excellent- 5 stars. Next time the service was good, but we had to send back one of the appetizers and my soup. Neither were hot. The replacements were very good - 4 stars. The next several times we went there for dinner, the service and the food was average at best. One time we ordered dinner. My husband ordered ribs and I ordered a RARE steak. His came out. I waited 10 more minutes and my meal never came out. I called the server to find out where my dinner was. âOops! Iâll go checkâ he said. He came out few minutes later with my steak. When I cut into it, it was room temperature and medium well done! Iâm guessing it sat under a heat lamp for over 15 minutes. I had to send it back. By the time they brought me a properly prepared meal, my husband was already done eating and ready to leave. He said his ribs were delicious, though the portion was very small. They ended up giving us a gift card to compensate us for the bad experience. If not for the gift card we would never have gone back again - 2 stars. So tonight, we decided to use the gift card and give them one more try. Another poor experience! We ordered 2 appetizers. The first was the prosciutto flatbread with that was supposed to have peach marmalade and goat cheese for $12. It should have been good. It wasnât. The flatbread was not as described. It had the meat and cheese, however instead of peach marmalade, it had some cut up cooked peaches (possibly poached) tossed on top. BLAH! The bit of sweetness from the peach marmalade would have perfectly offset the tanginess of the goat cheese. The chunks of peach were tasteless. When we asked the server about it, they said sometime things are changed and don't match the description on the menu. REALLY??? Either fix your menu or prepare the food as described!!! The steamed shrimp was fine, in fact it was the on decent part of our entire meal. Then again, bow do you screw up shrimp cocktail???My husband ordered iced tea. They didnât even bother to put a slice of lemon in it. Really?!? I had a glass of white wine. Hard to mess up.For dinner, my hubby ordered the Twin Crab Cakes with sugar snap peas, bacon, and whipped ricotta for $28. Although not the best crab cakes (too much filler) they tasted good and were not over seasoned. The cakes were served on top of the sugar snap peas. While the crab cakes came out hot, the beans were cold. I donât know if they were supposed to be cold or not, but I certainly would not serve hot crab cakes on top of cold beans. He only ate 2 bites of the beans.I ordered the Grilled Scallops with basil ricotta risotto, asparagus, bacon and preserved lemon gastrique for $27. There were only 4 medium size scallops (about 1.5 to 2 inches in diameter). They were coated in seasoning, including black pepper. The only thing you could taste was the pepper. ***Chef, donât you know, scallops have a delicate, slightly sweet flavor that is completely overwhelmed by anything other that a little bit of salt???*** I traded my husband one of his crab cakes for my scallops. Although he likes blackened food, he completely agreed with me, that the seasoning and pepper totally overwhelmed and killed all taste of the scallops. He scraped off as much as he could with his knife, but said it was still bad. At least the risotto and gastrique were tasty. So in a nutshell, the small portions (of meat) were poorly prepared and definitely not worth the price on the menu. Thankfully they comped us by taking the appetizers off the bill and we had the gift card, so our out-of-pocket was only about $14 plus tip. I guess a glass of wine and shrimp cocktail is worth $14. Fortunately, I had leftovers from the night before available to heat up when we got home! 1 star.

Iconic Maryland bar and restaurant serving famous crab dip, fresh & never frozen 100% beef burgers, fan-favorite wings, a $7.99 lunch menu, and a wide selection of local, craft, and specialty beers. Always a good game on TV, and every seat has a good view
Weâve been to a few of this regional chainâs restaurants, but like this location best because the staff is so much more attentive and friendlier here. The food is quite good, nice portions, and not too pricey. My husband loves the âturtle tendersâ (very flavorful and crispy chicken fingers), I especially like their fish tacos and crab soup. Never been disappointed at this location! Also, check out their lunch specials (back cover of menu), great value.

Just outside downtown Dover, near Legislative Hall is this delightful pub with a lake view and a richly designed pub decor. It was half price burger day so we indulged... great burgers. And they came done medium or rare as ordered.. fries were excellent, or you could swap out for a caesar salad or other sides.Beer selections are enormous; special drinks and wine list rocks..Lots else on the menu besides burgers, like soups, salads and dinner entrees.Bottom line: great armosphere, busy place with a pulse and really good food.

The Lemon Leaf Cafe is a casual restaurant located in downtown Smyrna, DE. Lunch and dinner are served daily, and brunch is served on the weekends.
Staying in Smyrna overnight to visit Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge, wanted a meal better than a diner. I do recommend the Lemon Leaf Cafe. It's in a restored Victorian building with small pretty dining rooms, white table cloths, wood floors. My only atmosphere complaint is that there was "smooth jazz" playing from a sonos sound system on the floor. My husband didn't mind it, but I really didn't think the sound matched the room at all. The food was very good. I had chicken avocado salad and my husband had burger and fries. Our lunch probably cost $10 more than it would have at a diner, but the cost was fair. Very good food in a nicer setting.

Not your ordinary Irish Pub. Here at The Celtic we feature a great selection of house made Irish and American dishes with eclectic menu additions. Ladies night on Wednesday, "Live and Local" at The Celtic on Friday, features a great collection of local an
Service was pretty poor. Bartender and one server only. Took a bit to get greeted then order. Food took quite awhile to come out. Bangers were decent and the mash and gravy were good. Soda bread was great. Patty melt was good as were the chips. DJ music started at 9 but I'm sitting here waiting for them to come back to run my card. Out of 10, 7-8 for food, 4?for serviceThank you for taking the time to write a review. We try very hard to ensure that we provide great service and I am sorry that we did not meet your expectation. I will certainly pass along your feedback to our staff. I am happy that you enjoyed your food as we make most of our menu from scratch. I hope that you will try us again when you are in the area.

Visiting our nephew who lives in Smyrna. This place is a neighborhood spot that has great food. Their fish and chips are outstanding. The special this night was wings. They were great with old bay on them. The menu is varied and has something for everyone. This is a great place.

Brickworks consistently has a nice selection of craft drafts in a pleasant atmosphere. They have a nice happy hour and I recently enjoyed a shrimp and a pork burrito. I would like to try one of their beer dinners. The menus look amazing.
